Реферат: 22,207. Graham, H. M. Howgrave-, and Gavin, W. Oct. 31. Foot-rests.-Foot-rests E, Fig. 1, are suspended by rods or chains D from a mantel shelf A. The claws B to which the pendants D are attached may be supported in socket pieces B', Fig. 2, or may be pivoted to supports B<4>, Fig. 3. Screw clamps may take the place of the claws B. The position of the rest E may be adjusted in any suitable manner, such as by passing the hooks b through different links in the chain D, or by so constructing the rest E and pendants D that the rest may slide along the pendant and be held in position by set-screws. - In the arrangement shown in Fig. 5, the chain D is passed through the hole b<4>, and held in position in the extension b<5>. The pendants D may be supported by hooks B, B at the ends of the shelf A, or by a single claw or clamp.
