Improvements in and relating to the art of textile printing
Реферат: Printing.--Pastes for use in textile printing, especially such pastes containing vat dyes of the anthraquinone, indigo or thioindigo series, have incorporated therein one or more glycols or glycol ethers, e.g. ethylene glycol and its monomethyl and monoethyl ethers and diethylene glycol. In examples, the preparation is described of pastes containing diethylene glycol and (1) Ponsol blue GD 30 per cent press cake, (2) Sulfanthrene blue 2 BD 30 per cent press cake, (3) Ponsol blue GD 30 per cent press cake and water, (4) Sulfanthrene blue 2BD 30 per cent press cake and water, (5) Ponsol blue GD 18 per cent press cake and Leukanol with evaporation of a portion of the water present, (6) Sulfanthrene orange R 12 per cent paste. Such pastes are further incorporated with a reducing agent such as rongalite (Registered Trade Mark) an alkali and a thickening agent such as gum or starch or both for use in printing. The use of the pastes for printing on silk and cellulose acetate materials is referred to.
