Реферат: ABSTRACT A system and method are provided for communicating event data, comprising network-connected user terminals, which include at least an operator terminal, a partner terminal and user terminals. The operator user terminal stores a range of numbers that may be randomly drawn in at least one lottery-type event, a concurrent selection threshold and instructions. The operator user terminal receives user input data from a first user temiinal corresponding to a first selection of numbers within the range and stores the first selection with a unique user terminal identifier. Upon receiving input data from a second user terminal corresponding to a second selection of numbers within the range, the operator terminal compares the first and second selections and stores the second selection with a unique user terminal identifier if the comparison returns a mismatch or stores it as a concurrent selection with a unique user terminal identifier if the comparison returns a match and if a number of stored concurrent selections is not larger than the concurrent selection threshold. The first and second selections are communicated to the partner terminal and draw data generated from a lottery—type event and corresponding to a drawn sequence of numbers within the range is received at least twice from any other of the user terminals. The first and second selections are respectively compared with the sequence and respective event data is output and communicated to the first and second user terminals.
