Реферат: The invention comprises copper- or nickel containing reactive dyes which in metal-free form are of formula <FORM:0955313/C3/1> wherein Z is a halogenopyrimidyl radical or a halogeno-alkanoyl radical with 2 or 3 carbon atoms, one x is hydrogen and the other x a sulphonic acid group and n is 1 or 2, and wherein the nucleus A contains one or two sulphonic acid groups or an alkylsulphonyl group with 1-4 carbon atoms or a sulphonamide group, if desired substituted by an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or alkoxyalkyl radical with 1-5 carbon atoms, and may contain further substituents. The dyes are prepared by reacting together 1 mol. of the diazo compound of a suitably substituted 2-aminophenol, 1 mol. of a coupling component of formula <FORM:0955313/C3/2> wherein y is an exchangeable hydrogen atom and 1 mol. of a reactive component, i.e. a polyhalopyrimidine or a functional derivative of a halogenoalkanoic acid with 2 or 3 carbon atoms, the reaction being conducted so that the diazo compound couples ortho to the hydroxy group and the reactive component replaces y; the treatment with a copper- or nickel-yielding agent taking place after the coupling and the reaction with the reactive component before or after coupling or after metallization. The dyes may be used to colour wool, silk, leather, synthetic polyamide fibres and cellulose fibres in red-violet to blue-violet shades. The dyeing may be followed by an alkaline after-treatment. Examples describe the preparation of the dyestuffs and their use in dyeing cellulose fibres.
