When the collar is provided around the inner body it applies a circumferential compressive force to deform the inner body such that the one or more annular protuberances engage the tube or the like to seal with it.

A swage or coupling tool is provided for use in coupling a fluid line to a compression fitting, a fluid coupler, or the like. The swage tool provides multiple degrees of freedom and/or multiple pivots or pivot joints to facilitate and maintain alignment of the jaws with the compression fitting during use of the swage tool to facilitate properly-aligned assembly of the compression fitting, and to limit bending or kinking of the fluid line when the fitting is being attached. The swage tool includes a pair of movable jaws, which may have stepped or rounded engagement surfaces, which may be forced against corresponding engagement surfaces of the compression fitting to securely assemble the fitting to the fluid line. The shape of the engagement surfaces facilitates properly-aligned assembly of the compression fitting, and limits bending or kinking of the fluid line when the fitting is being attached.

A coupling member inhibits accidental pivoting of a lever for operating a movable member such as a chuck member or a valve. A locking quick connect assembly is provided for removably coupling a first tube and a second tube. A quick connect housing presents a central bore for receiving the second tube. A redundant latch component positionable between an unlocked position and a locked position may be provided to slidingly engage the quick connect housing. A twist lock retainer surrounds the quick connect housing and the redundant latch component. The redundant latch component includes an axially extending peg and the twist lock retainer includes a locking channel for receiving the peg. A universal self-locking push-to-connect plumbing insert assembly provides flexibility to an installer to use the assembly in the field with a variety of different plumbing fittings for coupling conduits to such fittings. The assembly comprises first and second interlocking cartridges holding a dual function gripping ring. The gripping ring has inwardly projecting tines for gripping and holding a fluid conduit and outwardly projecting tines for holding the assembly within a plumbing fitting. A sealing ring is captively held by the first cartridge and is positioned to seal the insert assembly to a plumbing fitting when inserted therein and also seal a conduit extended into the assembly. In one embodiment, the assembly further includes a release ring held within the second cartridge for selectively engaging the inwardly projecting tines of the gripping ring to allow a fluid conduit to be removed from the insert assembly. 1. The hose coupler may have a coupler bore extending through a length of the coupler body. The hose coupler may also have a flange disposed adjacent the distal end. This disclosure includes various connection devices and assemblies, such as telescoping riser joints, that include at least one of the present connection devices. Some of the present connection devices, for example, include a housing having a bore therethrough; a locking ring rotatably movable relative to the housing between a first position and a second position; and an engagement member laterally moveable relative to the bore of the housing between a retracted position and an extended position. In some such connection devices, the locking ring is configured such that movement from the first position to the second position causes the engagement member to move from the retracted position to the extended position. 1. A tubular coupling is provided. The tubular coupling has a female endpiece with an axial orifice into which a male endpiece provided with a collar is designed to be inserted axially. A gardening fluid connection device contains a body including multiple retainers, a resilient element, and a fitting sleeve including multiple spaced engagement teeth. The resilient element abuts against the body and the fitting sleeve. The body includes a stop rib, and the multiple spaced engagement teeth are pushed by the resilient element to abut against the stop rib. The mounting devices includes a male section and a female section, which is attached to the IoT device. The mounting device may be installed in two stages. First, a male section is attached to a component of the hydronic heating/cooling system (for example, a valve or manifold) by threading the male section onto the component. Second, a female section, is positioned to male section and locked into place by releasing a sliding sleeve.
