The invention relates to the use of a non-corrosive copper-zinc alloy for drinking water shaped parts that contains 23 to 32 wt. % zinc, 0.01 to 0.3 wt. % of at least one of the following elements: tin, iron, nickel, aluminum, silicon, 0.7 to 1.5 wt. % lead and contains copper as the remainder. This non-corrosive copper-zinc alloy is used as a material for producing coupling parts, angular parts, curved angle parts, T-shaped parts and distributing parts, all of which intended for transporting drinking water.

Use of a non-corrosive copper-zinc alloy for drinking water shaped parts, composed of the following alloy components:

a) 23 to 32% zinc

b) 0.01 to 0.3% of at least one of the elements tin, iron, nickel, aluminium and silicon

c) 0.7 to 1.5% lead

d) the remainder of copper, including production impurities

as a material for manufacturing, in which the remaining copper content depends on the sum of the respective components in a) to c) of the mixture.

Use of a non-corrosive copper-zinc alloy according to claim 1, whose zinc content is 27 to 30%, for the purpose according to claim 1.

Use of a non-corrosive copper-zinc alloy according to the claims 1 or 2, which also contains 0.8 to 1.2% lead, for the purpose according to claim 1.

Use of a non-corrosive copper zinc-alloy according to the claims 1 to 3, which contains at least one element from the group

0.01 to 0.2% tin

0.01 to 0.2% iron

0.01 to 0.2% nickel and/or aluminium

0.002 to 0.005% silicon,

under the condition that the total content of these elements does not exceed 0.25%, for the purpose according to claim 1.

Use of a non-corrosive copper-zinc alloy according to claim 4, which contains at least one element from the group

0.02 to 0.10% tin

0.02 to 0.10% iron

0.01 to 0.03% nickel and/or aluminium

0.003 to 0.005% silicon,

and the total content of these elements is between 0.053% and 0.235%, for the purpose according to claim 1.

Drinking water shaped part according to claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, this is a coupling part.

Drinking water shaped part according to claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, this is an adapter part.

Drinking water shaped part according to claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, this is an angular part.

Drinking water shaped part according to claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, this is a curved angle part.

Drinking water shaped part according to claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, this is a T-shaped part.

Drinking water shaped part according to claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, this is a distributing part.
