Vacuum insulated molded body for e.g. cold storage has heat insulating material filled weldable plastic film casing which is thermally gas tight welded whereby vacuum prevails in casing to provide sealing to container for insulation

The body provides thermal insulation by filled insulation material in the casing of plastic body (1), having overlapping layers of plastic strip, which is gas tight sealed over the total contact area creating vacuum. The body has narrow sides (2) and when sealed with a packing machine, takes the shape of flat bag (4) after a drying process, forming projections (5) on the narrow sides of the axis (6).
