Enclosure especially intended to surround sports grounds

The enclosure possesses vertical posts (1) and horizontal handrails (3) bearing on the posts and their ends.
It comprises, at the top of each post (1) the projecting piece (5), having for example an H-shaped cross-section, the lower part of which is embedded in the post (1), and the ends of the adjacent handrails (3) which bear on the post (1) have complementary receptacles (6), the cross-sections of which correspond to those of the projecting piece (5) so as to permit the fitting of the handrails (3) on the piece (5).
The invention permits easy opening and closure of passages at any desired point of the enclosure simply by disengaging a handrail from the supporting posts, in order to open a passage for machines for the upkeep of the ground. <IMAGE>
