A a-d 'Alva compound steel, flexible and aims, by particularly simple means, to communicate to the [...]' Alva can absorb elastically with an initial softness strong shocks and the more violent ships high piles.

According to a known a-d ' Alva vessels more piles made of iron web, which is composed of a rigid part and a flexible portion located at a distance from the first, such that the flexible portion, after depletion of its elastic bending, bears against the rigid part. In this case, a unique cross sectional shape of the piles is necessary to that the flexible portion receives, during its movement, the necessary contacting.

It has also provided a a-d 'Alva to more piles wherein a group of individual piles for forming a flexible portion is not attached by a coupling member, to high tensile strength, but is located coaxially around a second group of piles [...]' Alva, which are assembled in a tension-resistant manner to form a rigid assembly or substantially rigid. Between the two groups of piles, there is provided a clearance such that all the piles, in case of full a-d ' Alva, approximately simultaneously reach the limit of their permissible loading.

According to the invention, in a a-d 'Alva compound, steel, flexible of the type described at the beginning, wherein at least one common coupling is used for all the piles of the a-d' Alva, it is foreseen that, of two groups of piles different in strength of the piles, the group of piles the more resistant, by means of corresponding dimensions of the set of mountain between the individual piles and the couples-' member, comes to undergo the stress with initially flexed from the group of piles lowest subjected to the contact of the vessel, so that the piles of two groups of piles, during their common bending, approximately simultaneously reach the limit of the allowable bending stress. In this way, without any additional effort, there is an effect of measuring absorption of the forces in a a-d ' unitary Alva compound.

On the attached drawing, is represented, by way of non-limiting example, one embodiment of the invention.

Figure 1 represents the a-d ' Alva compound in elevation.

The fig. 2 represents the section of the line a-b of Figure 1.

The a-d ' Alva compound comprises two groups of piles 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, 6, 7 and two individual coupling members 9,10 for all of the piles. The piles are steel pipe. The coupling means are of the flat hollow bodies and are supported by brackets 11,12 on the steel tubes in a known manner.

The tubes of the group 1, 2, 3, 4 subjected to the contact of the vessel have a smaller sectional area than that of the tubes of the group 5, 6, 7 arranged behind them. Between the tubes of the group 1, 2, 3, 4, and the recesses 13,14 . 15,16 of the coupler elements passing the tubes, is provided only a small clearance, while the tubes of the group 5, 6, 7 have a large play in the corresponding recesses 17, 18, 19 of the coupling members. During a force exerted on the a-d ' Alva, the tubes 1, 2, 3, 4 first flex individually. Only after a certain bending force that the tubes the more resistant subject to stress.
