MANUFACTURE OF CATALYSTIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a catalytic device in which catalyst material having a large active surface and excelling in stickiness can be stuck to a substrate.

SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing a catalytic device, catalyst- containing material 7 and solvent 8 are mixed, and the catalyst-containing material 7 is stuck to a substrate 1 heated to a boiling point of the solvent 6 or higher. Suspension solution containing the solvent 6 and carrier particles coated by a catalyst activating material and/or catalytic action is sprayed as a spray material to form a catalyst-containing layer on the substrate 1.
