PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness having an inexpensive overcurrent protector having simple structure by eliminating fusible link, and the like, thereby reducing the wire diameter and the weight of the wire harness. SOLUTION: In an overcurrent protector 7 provided between a battery 1 and a load 5, a decision circuit 75 sets a threshold current level at the perfect short circuit current of a wire when a current detecting section 73 detects a current flowing from the battery 1 to the load 5 and makes a decision whether the current level detected at the current detecting section 73 reaches the threshold current level. If the threshold current level is reached, a drive circuit 77 drives a heater 79 to generate heat which is used at an interrupting section 81 for disconnecting first and second bus bars 11, 19 electrically thus interrupting power supply from the battery 1 to the load 5.
