SPINNING DEVICE
The invention relates to a spinning device, in which at least one fibrous strip (2) is split into individual fibres (4), the individual fibres, in the form of an opened out fibrous veil, being placed on a mobile collecting surface (5) which is in the form of an air-permeable transporting strip (6). During the transport on the collecting surface, the fibrous veil (7) is compacted into a fibrous structure (8), transversally in relation to its direction of displacement. Said fibrous structure, now resembling a sliver, is transported through a clamping line and rotated by means of a swirl nozzle (11) to form a thread (12). The aim of the invention is to gently transfer the individual fibres from a combing cylinder (16), which unravels the fibrous structure, to the collecting surface (5). To this end, the outer side of the transport strip (6) surrounds a partial region of the circumference of the combing cylinder.
