ILLUMINATION DEVICE

An illumination device (11) is provided with a device main body (21), a mounting plate (23), a plurality of light-emitting modules (24), a plurality of lenses (25), and a lighting circuit (26). The device main body (21) comprises an opening (34) in the lower face thereof. The mounting plate (23) is positioned inside the device main body (21) in a planar manner in such a way that the lower face thereof is opposite the opening (34). The plurality of light-emitting modules (24) comprise semiconductor light-emitting elements and are attached to the lower face of the mounting plate (23). The lenses (25) are provided in each light-emitting module (24) and control the distribution of light from the light-emitting modules (24). The lighting circuit (26) is positioned above the mounting plate (23) inside the device main body (21) and turns on the light-emitting modules (24).
