BODY CAVITY INTERNAL PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE AND ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM

A body cavity internal pressure adjustment device (8): that is connected to an endoscope (1) and adjusts the internal pressure of a body cavity, said endoscope having a suction channel (17) used in a suction operation by manual control and a forceps channel (19) for inserting a treatment tool to inside the body cavity; and wherein an air supply unit (24) performs an air supply operation via the forceps channel (19). A pressure gauge (21) and a flowmeter (22) detect that the suction operation by manual control is being executed via the suction channel (17). A control circuit (25) stops the air supply operation by the air supply unit (24), in accordance with the detection results of the pressure gauge (21) and the flowmeter (22), if it has been detected that the suction operation by manual control is being executed via the suction channel (17) while the air supply unit (24) is executing the air supply operation.
