A method, a system and a recording medium for managing conversation contents in a messenger are disclosed. The method for managing conversation contents comprises the steps of: receiving a selection of a starting point and an ending point of a conversation period on a conversation screen of a messenger, which a user wants to store; specifying the conversation partner, conversation contents, and conversation time at the starting point and ending point; and storing the conversation partner, conversation contents, and conversation time, which have been specified for the starting point and ending point, by conversation unit.
