ELECTRONIC RIDING CROP WHIP This invention relates to a crop whip thai is produced to prevent riders (jockeys, apprentices) from whipping them too fast and too many times.

Today, in horse races, which are organized and having a particular popuiarity in many countries, jockeys, in order to take horses under control or to force them to run faster, have been whipping them. Although there are certain limitations for the number and the severity of whippings; due to the conditions, such as ambition, etc., during races; jockeys, with or without intention, may be whipping horses much more or faster than needed. Being whipped more or faster than required by riders (jockeys, apprentices, etc..) leads persecution of horses. The same problems may be experienced during cultivation of racehorses at stud farms or trainings prior to races. Regarding the riding crop whips used in the present time, it is not possible to measure how many times or how fast the horses are whipped. Therefore, it is not either possible to control whether the horses are treated or not within the framework of the rules determined or to impose any sanctions to the riders (jockeys, apprentices, etc...}, who, with or without intention, persecute horses, in order to prevent such violations.

Thanks to the accelerometer placed in the body of the crop whip and processor card connected to the accelerometer in this product of invention, it becomes possible to determine how many times and how fast the horses are whipped by the riders. By this means, it can be easily determined whether the riders comply with the rules or not, so that persecution of horses can be prevented. Since the product of the invention wili also enable the race to be held under equal conditions, it is also expected to contribute in the race to result in a fair way. Furthermore, since it can be checked whether the horses are treated or not within the framework of the rules determined with the product of the invention, it will also be possible to impose dissuasive penalties to the riders (jockeys, apprentices, etc.), who, with or without intention, persecute the horses, in order to prevent such violations. The product of the invention is illustrated in the drawings attached as listed below:

9. Vibrator engine In the product of the invention, inside of the crop whip body (1), there is an accelerometer chip (2) and a processor card (3) connected to this accelerometer chip (2). When the rider, during a race or a training session, hits the horse with the crop whip body (1), the accelerometer chip (2) detects the acceleration generated, sends it to the processor card (3), which has a microprocessor (4) on it. The processor card (3) analyses this information, calculates the speed, the seventy and the number of whippings applied to horses and records the data. The crop whip body (1) additionally has a battery (5) and/or an electricity generator (8), which generates electricity as the rider shakes the crop whip body. Thanks to the battery (5) and/or the electricity generator (8), the energy required for the processor card (3) is provided.

The information recorded in the processor card (3) of the product of the invention can be sent during or after a race/training, to peripheral units, such as computer, etc. , via cable or wireless RF (radio frequency) antenna (7) connections. Since the product of the invention enables the authorities to determine how many times and how fast the horses are whipped by the riders, it also allows the authorities to prevent persecution of horses within the framework of the rules and the penalties determined. In the product of the invention, inside the crop whip body (1), there is a RFID chip (8). Thanks to the information recorded in this RFID chip (8), it becomes easy to determine to which rider that the product of the invention belongs, therefore, the possibility of rider changing his crop whip for not to receive a penalty, thus the possibility of misleading the authorities, is eliminated.

In the product of the invention, inside the crop whip body (1), there is a small size vibrator motor (9). Being controlled by the processor card (3), this vibrator motor (9) warns the rider (jockey, apprentice, etc..) by trembling him when the limits of the relevant criteria are reached while he whips the horse. This enables the rider to have a perception for that he can be imposed to a penalty in case that he whips the horse, during a race or training, more or faster than needed and to have an auto-control without being drawn into the excitement of race/training.

CLAIMS

1. Being an electronic riding crop whip, this product of the invention is characterized in the sense of having at least one accelerometer chip (2) inside the crop whip body (1) and a processor card (3) connected to this accelerometer chip (2).

2. Being the electronic riding crop whip mentioned in the Claim 1. this product of the invention is characterized in the sense that;

- The information regarding the acceleration measured by the accelerometer chip (2) when the rider whips the horse during the race or training is sent to the processor card (3),

- The information received from the accelerometer chip (2) is analyzed by the processor card (3) so that the speed, the severity and the number of whippings applied to the horse can be calculated and recorded.

- The information recorded is sent, during or after a race or training, via cable or wireless RF (radio frequency) antenna (7) connections, to the peripheral units, such as computer, etc....

Being the electronic riding crop whip mentioned in the Claim 1 , this product of the invention is characterized in the sense of containing inside a battery (5), which provides the necessary energy for the processor card (3) and/or an electricity generator (6), which produces energy as the rider shakes the crop whip body.

4. Being the electronic riding crop whip mentioned in the Claim 1 , this product of the invention is characterized in the sense of containing a RFID chip (8) so that it can be determined to which rider belongs the whip.

5. Being the electronic riding crop whip mentioned in the Claim 1 , this product of the invention is characterized in the sense of containing a vibrator motor (9), which warns the rider (jockey, apprentice, etc ..) by trembling him when the limits of the relevant criteria are reached while he whips the horse and which is controlled by the processor card (3).
