The process for recycling and de-vulcanizing vulcanized rubber comprises the steps of: grinding said rubber in a mill in order to shred it into particles having a size substantially comprised between 5 and 15 mm; introducing the particles in an initial section of a two-screw co-rotating extruder having a length 64 times or more the external diameter of the screws, mixing the particles within the extruder, which is kept at a temperature comprised between 35 and 350° C., due to the screw rotation at a speed comprised between 15 and 300 rpm; and obtaining an extruded product formed by de-vulcanized rubber. 1. Process for recycling and de-vulcanizing vulcanized rubber , comprising the steps of:grinding said rubber in a mill in order to shred it into particles having a size substantially comprised between 5 and 15 mm,introducing said particles in an initial section of a two-screw co-rotating extruder having a length 64 times or more the external diameter of the screws,mixing said particles within the extruder, which is kept at a temperature comprised between 35 and 350° C., due to the screw rotation at a speed comprised between 15 and 300 rpm, andobtaining an extruded product formed by de-vulcanized rubber.2. Process according to claim 1 , wherein water is introduced into said extruder in at least one section located at a distance of at least 48 times the external diameter of the screws downstream of said initial section.3. The process for the recovery and devulcanization of vulcanized rubber (10) takes place in a plant comprising: a mill (12) for grinding the vulcanized rubber into particles; a devulcanization twin-screw extruder (20), which is provided with a device (18) for the forced feeding of the vulcanized rubber particles and a thermostatting device; a single-screw extruder (22) arranged downstream of the twin-screw extruder (20), and equipped with a thermo statting device, a filter (26) for the devulcanized rubber and an extrusion die (28) shaped like a slot, from the which devulcanized rubber comes out in the form of a strip or sheet; and a cooling device for the devulcanized rubber strip or sheet. The twin-screw extruder (20) operates at a temperature between 35 and 450°C, with a rotation speed of the screws between 15 and 600 rpm, and a torque density between 11 and 18 Nm/cm 3 , so that the shear rate remains substantially constant for the entire longitudinal extension of the twin-screw extruder (20).

El proceso de recuperación y desvulcanización del caucho vulcanizado (10) se realiza mediante una planta que comprende: un molino (12) de trituración del caucho vulcanizado en partículas; una extrusora de doble tornillo de desvulcanización (20), la cual está provista de un dispositivo (18) para la alimentación forzada de las partículas de caucho vulcanizado y un dispositivo de termostatización; una extrusora monotornillo (22) colocada aguas abajo de la extrusora bitornillo (20), y equipada con un termostatizador, un filtro (26) para el caucho desvulcanizado y una boquilla de extrusión (28) con forma de ranura, del cual el caucho desvulcanizado sale en forma de tira o lámina; y un dispositivo de enfriamiento para la tira o lámina de caucho desvulcanizado; la extrusora de doble tornillo (20) opera a una temperatura entre 35 y 450°C, con una velocidad de rotación de los tornillos entre 15 y 600 rpm, y una densidad de torque entre 11 y 18 Nm/cm3, por lo que la tasa de corte permanece sustancialmente constante para toda la extensión longitudinal de la extrusora de doble tornillo (20).
