1292740 Resistance thermometer VYZKUMNY USTAV ORGANICKYCH SYNTEZ 2 Oct 1970 [3 Oct 1969 8 Sept 1970] 46890/70 Heading H1K A resistance thermometer comprises a wire mounted between a base plate and a cover plate of non-fibrous material, the components being bonded together. Either or both of the plates may be of laminated silicon glass, mica, glass foil, ceramic or are organic material or of a metal such as platinum insulated with a layer of ceramic. The wire may be of platinum, nickel, tungsten or alloys thereof. The plates may be held together by soldering, and may be perforated. One of the plates may be of magnetic material to enable the device to be attached to a surface. In the embodiments the wire is arranged in a meandering pattern (Figs. 1 and 2, not shown); a plurality of such patterns are arranged side by side between a pair of plates (Fig. 3, not shown); two wires extended a constant distance apart in a meandering pattern (Fig. 4, not shown); two meandering resistor wires are arranged one either side of a single base-plate and are provided with separate cover plates (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown); two units, each comprising a resistor and a heating element arranged on either side of a base-plate and provided with two cover plates, are arranged to form a thermal feedback system (Fig. 7, not shown) and the two resistor-heater structures of the previous embodiment are placed on either side of an insulating layer and enclosed in a thermally insulating enclosure (Fig. 8, not shown).
