An engine is operated to produce exhaust emissions containing carbon nano soot therein which are injected into a solubilizing tank containing nitic acid and carbonic acid in a water solution for solubilizing the carbon nano soot as carbon nano tubes. A gas flow exiting the tank is captured such that some water and some solubilized carbon nano tubes are carried with the gas flow for subsequent delivery to a plant growing medium, either directly or by storing the water and solubilized carbon nano tubes carried with the gas flow in a tank for subsequent application. The solubilizing tank may be supported on agricultural seeding implements or sprayer implements for direct application to crop covered ground. In an irrigation system, the gas flow from the solubilizing tank is directed towards a condensing tank for subsequent application of the condensate to a plant growing medium with irrigation water.

Disk coulter support straps have flanges that provide a conveniently accessed mount for the applicator device and present minimal interference to trash and soil flow. A simple bracket connects an arm on the closing wheel mechanism to a central portion of the sweep standard. За сошниками установлен каток, содержащий ось, боковые диски, полый цилиндр. На боковых дисках установлены подшипниковые опоры. Полый цилиндр установлен на боковых дисках. In one embodiment, dry granular or granulized fertilizer is metered from one side of the disc and seed is metered from the opposite side of the same metering disc. The fertilizer is placed in a concentrated “pulse” approximately equal distances between seeds within a common seed furrow and/or between seed furrows to improved nutrient use efficiency by minimizing soil to fertilizer contact and subsequent chemical reactions that make applied supplemental nutrients less available to plants. Pressurized air may be utilized to assist discharge of both the seed and fertilizer from the disc meter to assure precise spacing in the soil. A cover may be placed on the meter and metering disc to recirculate air and thus minimize potential atmospheric contamination from seed coatings and fertilizer materials.

The biasing system includes a first biasing element on the housing, and a second biasing element on the valve body member. The first and second biasing elements are movable relative to each other between opposite first and second biasing system positions together with the associated valve body member being moved relative to the housing between the opposite first and second run selection positions. The first and second biasing elements are mutually biased against each other to urge each other apart and towards a one or the other of the opposite first and second biasing system positions. 1. Land cultivating systems and methods utilizing high-pressure fluid jet cutting techniques are disclosed. An example system includes a mobile unit, a traveler arrangement operably coupled to the mobile unit to ride on the surface of stubble residues as the mobile unit moves across land to be cultivated, and a fluid jet cutting head supported by the traveler arrangement. The cutting head is configured to selectively discharge a high-pressure fluid jet to make a cut through the stubble residues and underlying soil as the mobile unit moves across the land. A soil opening device is provided to form a furrow in the ground in line with the cut made by the high-pressure fluid jet, and a liquid injector nozzle is provided to discharge fertilizer or other chemical(s) into the soil. 1.
