Examples of bovine animals are dairy cows and beef cattle. The invention also relates to the use of such enzyme combinations in feed additive compositions and animal feed compositions enriched with maize and maize silages. 111-. (canceled)12. A method for improving the digestibility of maize and/or maize silages in feed for animals of the subfamily Bovinae , comprising treating a maize source with an effective amount of one or more proteolytic enzymes in combination with at least one amylase.13. A method for increasing the milk yield , increasing the weight gain or improving the feed conversion ratio of an animal of the subfamily Bovinae , comprising adding at least one bacterial amylase and one or more proteolytic enzymes to the feed which comprises maize and/or maize silages.14. High-yielding cows in modern farming systems live under conditions that are characterised by a very high milk production (dairy cows) or growth rate (beef cattle), which is followed by an equally high energy requirement. The utilisation of the feed decreases markedly when intake is increased beyond maintenance levels. In part to account for this, more and more easily degradable feed is included into the ruminant feed e.g. starch-containing raw materials such a cereal-based concentrates and whole cereal silages. The starchy material is frequently recovered in the faeces implying that the utilisation of such feed ingredients could be enhanced further.Maize or maize silage is becoming more common in increasing amounts in feed rations, in particular in feed for ...

USE OF COPPER-CALCIUM SULPHATE AS ANIMAL FEED ADDITIVE

Номер: US20190021368A1
Автор: PENG Xianfeng

Disclosed is the use of copper-calcium sulphate as an animal feed additive. When used in animal breeding, a low dose of copper-calcium sulphate can achieve a growth promoting effect of a high dosage of copper sulphate, and thus can be used as an animal basic nutritional supplement to substitute low-copper preparations in the breeding of poultry, livestock or aquatic animals. Copper-calcium sulphate, used as a novel, efficient and safe feed additive in the feed processing industry and animal breeding industry, can reduce the dosage of copper ion by nearly 50-70% while maintaining the production, significantly reducing use of copper in husbandry so as to reduce the cost, the poisonous effects and the pollution, making it a promising copper compound. 1. Embodiments of the system may include a middle detector flanked by two side detector panels, without shields or collimators. The middle detector may be positioned toward the front and orthogonal to the side detectors. By comparing a ratio of the detector data to a predetermined angular correlation function, the system can determine both the sign and magnitude of the source angle in real-time. Embodiments of the system can rapidly and automatically localize sources including industrial, medical, and other benign sources as well as nuclear and radiological weapons materials, whether in vehicles or cargo containers, and can provide improved sensitivity in walk-through personnel portal applications, enable enhanced detection of hidden weapons by a mobile area scanner, and enable a hand-held survey meter that indicates the radiation level as well as the location of the source of radiation.
