A modular brassiere that serves as both a modesty garment and an easily-donned support garment. The modular bra includes an elongated support band that is preferably made of elastic material. Hook-and-loop type of engaging panels are used to secure the band around the user's chest. A separate strap assembly may be added to transfer load to one or more of the user's shoulders. The health monitoring garment includes an article of clothing comprising at least one compression section to provide a snug fit against a person wearing the article of clothing and a sensor island. The sensor island includes stretchable circuitry, two or more sensors, one or more power supplies, and optionally one or more wireless communication modules within a self-contained unit. At least one of the sensors comprises a stretchable sensor which may be a respiration sensor. The sensor unit may be provided independent of the health monitoring garment or as a complete system. The sensor island and compression section of the article of clothing also include fasteners of complementary geometries for reversible attachment and disengagement of the sensor island from the compression section.

A garment assembly includes a plurality of garments that utilize oversized fasteners, such as large buttons and tie-strings, to join each garment together for adorning and disrobing, and also to reveal sections of the body for examination. In this manner, the entire garment may not have to be disrobed to examine a specific area of the body. The garment assembly includes a front garment and a back garment that join by strategically-positioned buttons and ties. The buttons and tie-strings align across from each other on the front garment and the rear garment. A medical garment adapted to be worn by a patient, including: a body portion adapted to be worn on at least the upper torso of a patient, wherein the body portion includes at least one front panel having an outward-facing surface and an inward-facing, skin-contacting surface; an access opening extending across at least a portion of the body portion of the garment, wherein the access opening provides communicates between the outward- and inward-facing surfaces of the front panel; a pocket-forming outer panel affixed to the body portion of the garment such that a selectively-closeable pocket is provided between at least a portion of the front panel and the pocket-forming panel; and a medical device anchor secured within the pocket, wherein the anchor is adapted for releasable securement of a portion of a medical device (e.g., catheter tubing) within the pocket. 1. A medical garment adapted to be worn by a patient , comprising:(a) a body portion adapted to be worn on at least the upper torso of a patient, said body portion comprising at least one front panel having an outward-facing surface and an inward-facing, skin-contacting surface;(b) an access opening extending across at least a portion of the body portion of the garment, wherein the access opening provides communicates between the outward- and inward-facing surfaces of the front panel;(c) a pocket-forming outer panel affixed to the body portion of the garment such that a selectively-closeable pocket is provided between at least a portion of the front panel and the pocket-forming panel, the pocket extending downwardly from said access opening; and(d) a medical device anchor secured within said pocket, said anchor adapted for releasable securement of a portion of a medical device within said pocket.2. Infusion friendly sweater donnable with medical attachments

A comfort, infusion-friendly, sweater supplements existing attire of a wearer and accommodates pre-existing medical attachments. The sweater includes a first arm portion with top and bottom plackets extending lengthwise from a collar portion to a wrist portion, plackets having fasteners and mating fasteners. The sweater has a first front portion connected to the first arm portion, a second arm portion, a second front portion and a back. A collar pull tab, having a pull fastener, extends outward near the collar. A mating fastener is on the collar portion or the back portion. Engaging the first arm fasteners and mating fasteners dons the sweater over the existing attire of the wearer, without disruption the medical connections.
