Mit diesen wasserdichten Reissverschlüssen (4, 7) lässt sich der Kragen und Brustbereich sowie lassen sich die Manschetten (13) und Vorderärmel (8) ein Stück weit öffnen, wodurch eine wirksame Kühlfunktion geboten wird, welche das Tragen dieses Trockenanzuges in nicht-kritischen Missionsphasen entscheidend angenehmer und weniger ermüdend macht. Ausserdem wiegt dieser Trockenanzug insgesamt weniger als 1.5 kg und ist entsprechend leicht am Körper zu tragen.

In some embodiments, the multilayer fabric may include a nanostructured layer that selectively filters particular wavelengths. 1. A multilayer fabric , comprising:a microporous water vapor permeable layer comprising pores with a pore size in the range between 1.0 microns and 14.0 microns, wherein the microporous water vapor permeable layer is configured to allow the transmission of far infrared (FIR) radiation and solar radiation, and wherein the pores are arranged in a repeated and consistent pattern; anda first textile layer coupled to the microporous water vapor permeable layer.2. The multilayer fabric of wherein the microporous water vapor permeable layer comprises a metallic material.3. The multilayer fabric of claim 1 , wherein the microporous water vapor permeable layer consists of a metallic material.4. The apparel is constructed from various combinations of layers of materials with moisture transfer properties. A first liner of moisture transfer fabrics abuts a second layer of structural material such as open-cell foam. The second layer can abut a breathable membrane and/or an insulating material. Finally, carefully selected outer fabric completes the combination to provide apparel with improved performance characteristics. A glove for preventing the wearer from sucking a thumb or one or more fingers comprises a glove body made out of fabric that has a hand portion which receives the hand and a digit portion which receives the thumb and fingers. The digit portion comprises a tubular, open ended digit receiving member for each digit. A breathable and waterproof composite fabric , comprising:a fabric sheet having a first surface and a second surface that is opposite to said first surface, and a plurality of micropores extending through said first and second surfaces;a first waterproof plastic film made of a non-porous material and having an outer surface, an inner surface that is opposite to said outer surface and that is bonded to said first surface of said fabric sheet, and a plurality of first hollow protrusions protruding from said outer surface in a direction opposite to said fabric sheet, each of said first hollow protrusions defining a first channel that extends through said inner and outer surfaces and that has an inner open end at said inner surface, and an outer open end distal from said inner and outer surfaces, said first channel extending curvedly from said inner open end to said outer open end.2. A cooling shirt is disclosed. The shirt is formed from a resilient fabric comprised of a first yarn of a first material and a second yarn of a second material twisted and knitted together. In one embodiment, the first yarn is formed from fibers have surfaces adapted to channel liquid from wet areas to dry areas and the yarn has pores adapted to permit evaporation of liquid vapor therethrough, and the second yarn is resilient and capable of being stretched at least 300% without deforming. The first yarn constitutes between 85% and 95% of the weight of the fabric with the second yarn constituting the remainder. In one embodiment the resilient fabric is capable of being resiliently stretched at least 40% in each of two perpendicular directions without tearing and returning immediately to its at-rest position. This invention is directed to the drip-slip™, which is a disposable, dispensable guard comprised of flexible, absorbent paper or fabric which may include a leak-proof backing. It is meant to wick dripping liquid, blood, or body fluids away from and keep foreign debris out of, for example, clothing while performing activities that include but are not limited to shaving, dishwashing, washing the hands, staining wood, dining, cooking, housecleaning, dental hygiene, foregoing medical treatment, performing arts and crafts, foregoing massage, hair dyeing, changing oil, or moving through wet or dry indoor or outdoor environments. 1. A disposable assembly with at least one absorbent material layer or one liquid-impermeable layer to be tucked into and/or worn over garments , either on the hand , wrist , forearm , upper arm , neck , waist , torso , foot or leg.2. The assembly as defined in claim 1 , wherein an additional liquid-impermeable backing layer is joined to the absorbent layer with adhesive claim 1 , preventing fluid from soaking through to the sleeve or pant cuff.3. The assembly as defined in claim 2 , wherein the absorbent layer is between 0.001 mm and 10 mm in thickness claim 2 , liquid retentive claim 2 , breathable claim 2 , compact claim 2 , and comfortable for the wearer.4. The assembly as defined in claim 3 , wherein adhesive tabs or backings secure the assembly directly to the clothing or to the assembly itself claim 3 , making said assembly fit more snugly on the wearer and preventing it from falling off during use.5.
