A method , comprising:moving an arm cart containing a robotic arm from a storage location to a surgical table, a coupling portion of the robotic arm in a first position approximately aligned with a coupling portion of the surgical table;after moving the arm cart to the surgical table, moving the robotic arm within the arm cart from the first position to a second position in which the coupling portion of the robotic arm is exactly aligned with the coupling portion of the surgical table; andcoupling the robotic arm to the surgical table.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the storage location is a first storage location claim 1 , the method further comprisingmoving the arm cart, without the robotic arm, from the surgical table to a second storage location.3.
