FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: means is manufactured as pampers or hygienic insert for women and is provided with functional diagnostic remedy. The diagnostic remedy is positioned between the absorbing agent layers. The functional diagnostic remedy contains at least one chemical reagent making reactions with biological fluids in organism to enable one to compare changes in contents of reference (diagnostically significant) metabolites in liquid biological samples. The number of isolated chemical reagents arranged in arbitrary order in the remedy is selected depending on the number of diagnostic parameters characteristic of the given disease. The functional diagnostic remedy is insulated from the adjacent layers to prevent biological fluids secreted in organism from being additionally supplied inside and biological fluid sample delivered inside of the remedy from exiting outside. Transparent windows are produced both in the diagnostic remedy and in water-proof layer of the sanitary and hygienic means. Both of them are optionally entirely produced from a transparent material to simplify visual control in comparing the resulting color with reference color scale represented on the package containing the means used by a patient in everyday mode. Dehydration sensors containing buffered polymer-based ink

FIELD: personal usage items. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dehydration indicators for introduction of absorbent into product of personal hygiene. Sensor of human body dehydration comprises a porous substrate, on part of which buffered ink system is applied. Mentioned ink include from 0.5 to 20 wt% of a weak polymeric base as buffer agent, a viscosity modifier and pH-sensitive dye. Polymer base is represented by polyallylamine, polyethylenimine, polyvinylamine hydrochloride or their combination; substrate is a cellulose material. Adding to clothing or personal hygiene absorbent product is also described containing mentioned dehydration sensor. EFFECT: buffered ink of dehydration sensor prevent dye leaching out of porous substrate during the analytical procedure providing colour stability and reliability of results in tracking body saturation with water.
