Provided are systems, dressings, and methods suitable for treating a tissue site, such as an incision or linear wound, for example. The systems, dressings, and methods relate to a dressing assembly that may include a dressing bolster, a comfort layer, and a polymeric enhancement layer. The dressing bolster may include foam and may have a first side and a second side. A first side of the comfort layer may be coupled to the second side of the dressing bolster, and a first side of the polymeric enhancement layer may be coupled to the second side of the comfort layer. An opposing second side of the polymeric enhancement layer may be configured to directly contact the tissue site. Other systems, dressings, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed. 1. A system for treating a tissue site , comprising: a dressing bolster having a first side and an opposing second side,', 'a comfort layer having a first side and an opposing second side, the first side of the comfort layer positioned on the second side of the dressing bolster,', 'a sealing member covering the first side of the dressing bolster, and', 'a polymeric layer comprising silicone and having a first side and an opposing second side, wherein the first side of the polymeric layer is coupled to the second side of the comfort layer, wherein the second side of the polymeric layer is configured to directly contact the tissue site, and wherein polymeric layer comprises a plurality of apertures disposed through the polymeric layer between the first side and the second side of the polymeric layer; and, 'a dressing assembly, comprisingwherein the dressing assembly is configured to be coupled to a reduced-pressure source.2.
