A golf club shaft that holds a disc-type or spike-type golf marker is disclosed. For disc-type ball markers, the top of the shaft may feature a partially raised circumference and lip such that the disc marker may be slid into the part of the circumference that is not raised and may be retained there by tension. For spike-type ball markers, a plurality of hinged, pie-shaped members line the circumference of an opening and are urged inward. The pie shaped members may retain the spike of the golf marker. 1. A golf club shaft comprising:(a) a rigid shaft having a circular cross section, a first end, and a second end;(b) said first end corresponding to the end where a user customarily grips a golf club, and said second end corresponding to the end where a club head is customarily attached; and(c) said first end of said shaft having a axially directed opening;whereby a golf marker may be removably stored within said axially directed opening.2. As a particular feature, it has a special lighting arrangement, such that it also allows golf to be played during hours of darkness. To this end, at least the tees ( 17 ), the greens ( 1 ), the bunkers ( 4 ) and obstacles ( 6 ) are each equipped with a series of discrete or continuous light sources ( 12, 15, 18, 20, 36 ), preferably in the form of ground-installed LEDs or of OLEDs or LEDs. GOLF TEE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING A GOLF TEE

A golf tee for supporting a golf ball is disclosed herein. In a preferred embodiment, the golf tee comprises a stem section insertable to the ground and a head section for supporting the golf ball and arranged to be releasably attached to the stem section . A connection member is configured to tie the stem section to the head section and which enables the head section to be detached from stem section . In this way, when the head section is struck by a golf club and becomes detached from the stem section , the connection member prevents the head section from being separated from the stem section . Since the stem section is likely to be planted into the ground, this reduces the chance of sending the golf tee flying and thus, there is no need to spend time searching for the golf tee . The present disclosure provides systems and methods associated with a golf tee configured to impart a spin to a golf ball prior to impact between the golf ball and the golf club face. The golf tee includes a retention mechanism configured to releasably secure a golf ball to a contact surface of the golf tee while a rotation mechanism rotates the golf tee or a spin mechanism spins the golf ball, thereby imparting spin to the golf ball. In one embodiment, the golf tee includes a plurality of support members to support a golf ball, wherein contact between the golf ball and the plurality of support members is asymmetrically distributed between a first contact area and a second contact area. In another embodiment, the golf tee includes a two-part shaft slideably coupled together and an adjustable resistance mechanism to provide a resistive force between the two parts of the golf tee, wherein the resistive force opposes the sliding together of the two parts. A retrieval device for golf clubs and golf balls includes a magnet, a ball retrieval implement, and a helical thread fixed relative to the magnet. The helical thread is screwed onto a proximal end of a grip. The golf club can be used by a golfer to retrieve a laying golf club or ball already on a playing surface without the need for the golfer to bend over or down. The helical thread may include a pointed distal end and a cutting slot or a drill distal end. A body may surround the magnet, where the body includes a base and a top. The top may include an elastomeric material such as rubber. A ball retrieval implement is fixed to the proximal end of the device, such that the device allows a golfer to pick up a ball laying on the ground without the need to bend over or down.
