The present invention relates to a filter element using a plastic cap integrated with a relief valve, wherein a net type core 21 is received in a spin-on filter housing 10 in the cylindrical shape opened at the top portion thereof and formed with a plurality of oil passing holes 21 a in the periphery thereof, and an oil pleated paper 22 is positioned to maintain the shape thereof at the periphery of the core 21 so as to be positioned at a small distance from the inner wall of the housing 10. The filter element 20 includes: an upper cap 23 formed of a plastic material at the upper end thereof; and a fixed lower cap 50 integrated with a relief valve formed of plastic material at the lower end thereof. The fixed lower cap 50 integrated with a relief valve receives and fixes a relief valve 30, which is formed of a valve plate 32 and an elastic spring 33. In the filter element 20, the core 21 is covered by the upper cap 23 and the lower cap 50, which are kept in close contact with the outside of the core 21. According to the present invention, assembly of the valve plate 32 and the elastic spring 33 of the relief valve 30 is simplified by integrating a plurality of upper holding protrusions 52 of the fixed lower cap 50 integrated with a relief valve. In addition, the deviation of an element compression spring 25 closely contacting the lower inner surface of the housing 10 by the oil which is introduced into an oil hole 53 is prevented by the integration of the lower holding protrusions 52. Furthermore, the upper cap 23, the fixed lower cap 50 integrated with a relief valve and the core 21 are manufactured by plastic injection molds so as to reduce weight. The spin-on filter may be reused without separation from the oil pleated paper 22, which is fixed by a thermosetting resin 22 a (since both are formed of the same materials) when discarding the spin-on filter. In addition, it is possible to use the element in the generation of renewable energy.

A surface filter for aquarium water purification is placed on the bottom of the aquarium that sucks the waste out of the tank to the canister filter. Small plastic pieces make and connect the main stream channels. Each plastic piece is composed of a couple of inverted pyramids that acts like a funnel. Water flows through the main channels sucked by an external filter. In the base of each inverted pyramid a small hole opens to the drainage channel, which has a hollow inverted V shape. Water, particles and fish waste are passed through the channels to the external filter. At the end of the assembly a cross channel collects the drained water. Collected water is transferred to the external filter outside the aquarium. A hose connects the external filter with the collector. A replacement filter element having a removable pin attached to the filter element is described. The removable pin is attached to the filter element via a first interference fit. When the replacement filter element is installed into a filtration system having a drain valve with an internal draft, the removable pin seals onto the drain valve and forms a second interference fit between the drain valve and the pin. The pin seals an opening in the drain valve. The second interference fit is stronger than the first interference. When disassembled, the connector is lowered from the position of the boss to the position of the groove, and the water passage is closed, preventing the leakage of the connector water due to the removal of a filter element. During the process of compressing air, atmospheric air along with water vapor and airborne contaminants are ingested into the air compressor. Many of these compressors utilize oil for lubrication, sealing and cooling. A compressor system utilizes drain valves to remove the condensate that accumulates in the system which are typically located on the compressor, moisture separators, coalescing filters, receivers, dryers, and drip legs. A reductant storage system for an internal combustion engine system , comprising:a storage container having a bottom wall, a top wall opposite the bottom wall, an opening extending through the top wall, and a reservoir formed by a hollow interior of the storage container;a filter assembly extending through the opening, wherein the filter assembly is configured to seal the opening and includes a filtering material; anda header assembly extending through the opening and inside the filter assembly, wherein the header assembly includes: (i) a first sensor configured to measure a quality of the reductant contained within the filter assembly and (ii) a second sensor configured to measure a level of the reductant contained within the filter assembly.2. The reductant storage system of claim 1 , wherein the first sensor is an ultrasonic sensor or an infrared sensor claim 1 , and wherein the second sensor is an ultrasonic sensor.3. The reductant storage system of claim 1 , wherein header assembly comprises a reflector positioned at a predetermined distance from the first sensor.4.
