본 발명은 건조기능 및 펠릿 성형기능을 구비한 음식물 쓰레기 처리장치에 관한 것으로, 그 목적은 마이크로파를 조사하여 음식물 쓰레기를 건조시키시키는 과정에서 마이크로파의 누설을 방지하도록 하고, 무게측정부에서 측정된 전,후의 음식물 쓰레기의 중량을 감지하여 설정값 이하로 음식물 쓰레기가 감량되면 배출구 개폐부를 개방하도록 제어가 가능한 건조기능 및 펠릿 성형기능을 구비한 음식물 쓰레기 처리장치를 제공함에 있다. 이는 음식물 쓰레기가 투입되어 건조되는 건조기; 및 상기 건조기로부터 건조된 음식물 쓰레기를 제공받아 펠릿으로 가공하는 펠릿 성형기; 를 포함하고, 상기 건조기는, 분쇄 또는 탈수된 음식물 쓰레기가 내부로 투입되어 건조된 후 배출되는 몸체부; 상기 몸체부에 구비되어 마이크로파를 이용하여 음식물 쓰레기를 가열하는 마그네트론 가열기; 상기 몸체부 상에 배치되어 가열된 증기의 수분을 제거하는 수분 제거부; 상기 몸체부 내부에서 투입된 음식물 쓰레기를 교반하는 교반부; 상기 몸체부의 내부에 투입된 음식물 쓰레기의 무게를 측정하도록 상기 몸체부의 하부에 설치되는 무게측정부; 상기 몸체부에서 건조된 음식물 쓰레기를 배출하는 배출구에 설치되어 상기 몸체부 외부로 전자파가 누설되지 않도록 하고, 건조가 완료되면 개방되도록 하는 배출구 개폐부; 및 상기 몸체부에 투입된 음식물 쓰레기의 중량을 상기 무게측정부에서 측정하고, 설정값 이하로 음식물 쓰레기가 감량되도록 마크네트론 가열기의 파워조절과 교반부의 회전속도를 조절하여 목표 건조 중량 값에 도달한 것으로 판단되면, 상기 배출구 개폐부를 개방하여 상기 펠릿 성형기로 건조된 음식물 쓰레기를 공급하도록 제어하는 제어부; 를 포함하는 것이다.
