Die Handspritze zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass sie einen zum Speichern von erhitztem Wasser geeigneten Wasserbehälter aufweist, welcher eine Einfüllöffnung zum Einfüllen des Wassers und eine mit einer Düsenanordnung zum Verspritzen des vorher erhitzten Wassers verbundene Auslassöffnung hat, wobei die Handspritze ferner eine Wassererhitzungseinheit zur Erhitzung des Wassers aufweist.

This disclosure concerns a paint spray gun and a method of handling the spray gun with one hand. The gun comprises a body comprising a valve, a trigger actuatable to open and close the valve, a handle, and a guard having a top end and a bottom end, the top end attached to the body and the bottom end located below the trigger. The trigger is located directly between the guard and the handle. When gripped, the thump of the hand wraps around one side of the handle, the index and middle fingers of the hand wrap around the other side of the handle above the bottom end of the guard to contact the trigger, and the ring and little fingers of the hand are below the bottom of the guard. With the use of a low cost microphone mounted at each nozzle, a sound signature of the nozzles may be captured and stored to be used as a continuous indicator of any changes in the flow rate of the nozzles. By measuring changes in sound at each nozzle, it is possible to determine the change in flow before a change in pressure manifests into a problem in the system. The change in sound will oftentimes be significant for plugged nozzles, or nozzles that have excessive wear and flow at too high of a rate. The invention has the advantage of being relatively low cost with ceramic microphones for example. and with little or no moving parts required. A closed loop control system may be included to compensate for nozzle degradation.

A spray system for an agricultural machine is configured to include a valving arrangement and multiple liquid product lines coupled to spray nozzle assemblies such that the valving arrangement can connect the product lines to the spray nozzle assemblies in different ways to achieve different modes of operation. Such modes can include providing agricultural liquid product flow through the spray nozzle assemblies at differing rates and/or flushing the product through the spray nozzle assemblies in differing directions. This can be achieved by controlling the valving arrangement to selectively connect any of the lines to pump for supplying product, to tank for returning product, or to block the lines to inhibit the flow of product. In one aspect, the product multiple lines can be of different sizes to enable more modes of operation, such as greater or lesser flow rates while spraying.

A walk from behind, also called a push or cart sprayer having an assembly of wheeled frame and a tank. The frame has a rearward extending handle which enables the assembly to be pushed along a path. The tank has a connected boom assembly including a pivotal boom arm along the front of the tank with a distal spray nozzle, and a mechanism enabling the boom arm to be pivoted to the sides of the tank where the nozzle sprays away from the path, to the side of the path, so that possible toxic or corrosive spraying liquid cannot be stepped upon by the operator pushing the sprayer, thereby enhancing safety of operation. The boom arm is also pivotal to the front of the tank, such as useful when the cart sprayer is towed. 1.
