A method is disclosed of forming a sealant ring 53 within a throttle body assembly comprising an essentially cylindrical housing defined by an essentially cylindrical wall 20 and an essentially circular plate 16 pivotally disposed on the wall wherein an essentially annular gap 30 is formed between the plate and the wall. The method comprises depositing an essentially continuous ring of sealant composition around the throttle body assembly. The ring covers the annular gap. The sealant composition is dispensed from a needle applicator 50 which is disposed above the annular gap and which travels in an essentially circular motion around the throttle body. The sealant composition, upon drying, forms an essentially continuous seal covering the gap of the throttle body. The composition preferably comprises molybdenum disulfide and methyl ethyl ketone. Movement of and dispersing from the needle may be controlled by a central processing unit.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Applikatordummy (8) zur Verwendung anstelle eines realen Applikators bei einer Bahnprogrammierung einer Bewegungsbahn des Applikators, wobei der Applikatordummy (8) während der Bahnprogrammierung entlang der zu programmierenden Bewegungsbahn über eine Bauteiloberfläche eines zu beschichtenden Bauteils (1, 2) bewegt wird, mit einem Dummykörper (10–13), der hinsichtlich Form und Abmessungen im Wesentlichen mit dem realen Applikator übereinstimmt, und mit einer virtuellen Düse (14), die sich an dem Dummykörper (10–13) des Applikatordummys (8) im Wesentlichen in derselben Position befindet wie eine reale Düse bei dem realen Applikator, wobei sich bei der Bahnprogrammierung ein bestimmter Abstand (a) zwischen der virtuellen Düse (14) und der Bauteiloberfläche des zu beschichtenden Bauteils (1, 2) einstellt. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich aus durch eine baulich in den Applikatordummy (8) integrierte Abstandskontrolleinrichtung (15) zur Kontrolle des Abstands (a) zwischen der virtuellen Düse (14) und der Bauteiloberfläche des zu beschichtenden Bauteils (1, 2). Weiterhin umfasst die Erfindung ein zugehöriges Programmierverfahren.

A fluid injecting nozzle is provided to prevent the unnecessary discharge of a liquid upon blocking of a valve by forming the width of a fluid channel in a nozzle body in a small size to increase adhesive power between a fluid and an inner surface of the fluid channel. A nozzle body(12) is comprised of a first plate(16) arranged adjacent to a substrate and a second plate(14) arranged over the first plate and coupled thereto. An end of the first plate is protruded toward the substrate more than that of the second plate. The nozzle body has a discharge hole for discharging a fluid to the substrate. A fluid channel is formed in the nozzle body to guide the fluid toward the discharge hole. The discharge hole is configured to have a discharge area greater than a cross section of the fluid channel, thereby reducing speed of the fluid flowing in the fluid channel. A chamber having a certain volume is formed on the fluid channel to temporally store the fluid flowing on the fluid channel and then allow it to flow along the fluid channel.
