An ambient oxygen concentrating torch has an oxygen concentrating unit disposed in operational communication with a second compressor whereby oxygen is sourced from the ambient atmosphere by Pressure Swing Adsorption and producible for pressurization and storage interior to a pressure tank. Controlled release of the stored oxygen is thereby enabled for combination with a hydrocarbon to effect combustion and production of a high-temperature flame as used in welding and cutting. Because oxygen is sourced from the ambient environment, and is continuously producible therefrom, need of separate oxygen canisters is entirely obviated.

본 발명은 협소한 공간에서 사용되는 자동 용접기에 관한 것으로, 특히 슬라이딩빔을 따라 타이밍벨트와 모터에 의해 용접할 수 있도록 두개의 용접부재를 가압하여 주는 가압롤러와 용접선(WELDING LINE)을 안내하여 주는 가이드롤러 및 용접토치를 상,하조절하여 주는 상,하조절노브와 좌,우로 조절하여 주는 좌,우조절노브로 설치되는 자동 용접기를 이용하여 용접작업을 수행하므로 협소한 공간에서 작업자가 직접 작업을 하지 않아도 되어 작업환경적 불안전 요소를 제거하여 안전사고를 방지할 수 있으며 자동용접기로 용접작업을 하게 되어 용접상태가 양호하므로 생산성 향상의 효과를 얻게된 자동 용접기에 관한 것이다.

The novelty is that the metal powder is contained in a reservoir and fed at a rate controlled by the pressur of the O2 in the burner so that a mixt. of relatively constant proportions of oxygen, fuel-gas and metal powder is projected onto the surface of the metal workpiece. The pipe used to lift the metal powder is pref. surrounded by a fusible seal, which melts if any blow-back of the flame occurs, so air enters the reservoir to prevent an explosion of the metal powder in the presence of O2, and a second fusible seal admits a non-combustible gas under pressure into the O2 pipe. Welding and cutting stainless steels and other alloys using a metal powder consisting mainly of Fe, and where devices prevent any blow-back from causing an explosion.

Es ist vorgesehen, dass die Kupplungseinrichtung (2) wenigstens ein Magnetsystem (10) und wenigstens eine Kurzschlusseinrichtung aufweist, die relativ zueinander zwischen einer Einschaltstellung und einer Ausschaltstellung derart verschiebbar sind, dass der vom Magnetsystem (10) generierte magnetische Fluss in der Einschaltstellung unter Erzeugung der magnetischen Haltekraft aus der Kupplungseinrichtung (2) heraustritt und in der Ausschaltstellung mittels der Kurzschlusseinrichtung unter Erlöschen der magnetischen Haltekraft zumindest teilweise in der Kupplungseinrichtung (2) kurzgeschlossen ist. The present invention relates to an auxiliary nozzle for a gas welder, capable of stabilizing a welding work by forming a protective layer for an original torch flame as gas is auxiliary supplied so that the range of a torch flame can be expanded to the outside of a base subject to a gas-welding work, and of representing superior welding efficiency as the temperature of the base is increased due to the enlargement of the torch flame range. The auxiliary nozzle of the gas welder according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: an auxiliary nozzle body that is formed in the shape of a ring to detachably coupled with an outer circumference of a front end portion of a gas welding nozzle provided in one side therein with a first fluid passage allowing the internal circulation of cooling water and provided in an opposite side thereof with a second fluid passage allowing gas to be supplied downward; a mesh member located at a lower portion of the auxiliary nozzle body so that gas flowing through the second fluid passage is uniformly supplied downward; a guide member that is screwed with an outer circumference of the auxiliary nozzle body, in which the mesh member is located, fixes an outer portion of the mesh member thereto, and extends downward in such a manner that the guide member is bent inward, thereby preventing gas supplied through the mesh member from being dispersed; and a separation nozzle that is detachably screwed with the outer circumference of the gas welding nozzle coupled with the auxiliary nozzle body and fixes an inner portion of the mesh member thereto.

[Class 135] A valve suitable for insertion between a manual regulating valve on a gas storage vessel and the reducing valve in a gas welding system to prevent pressure surges reaching the reducing valve comprises a valve member 14 retained open by a spring 11 and having flutes on its external surface through which the gas passes to the outlet 13. The end of the valve is recessed at 18 and a-bleed passage 19 is controlled by a screw 22. When a sudden high inlet pressure exists, the valve 14 is closed and the gas leaks through the bleed passage 19 until the pressure in the outlet gradually increases and the valve again opens. In a modification shown in Fig. 4, the end of the valve 14a has a cavity 18a into which projects the end 25 of a fitting 24 on the inlet end of the housing ; this arrangement increases the effect of the sudden high pressure on the closing of the valve. The bleed passage is formed in this case around the thread of the screw 22 by making the bore 19a in the valve oversize before tapping ; a filter disc 27 is fitted adjacent the head of the screw 22.
