SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a handle which can be used with multiple tool heads, in particular, with instrumental heads for hygienic care of wool or for collection of wool when used with animals. Handle for receiving a plurality of tools comprises a gripping portion made with dimensions which enable to grip a person's hand, and having free end and opposite end for receiving tool. Gripping part has cavity with hole at end for receiving tool and hole, central axis of which is perpendicular to central axis of cavity hole. Handle includes an insert handle located inside the gripping part cavity, and a component holder retained by the insert handle. Component holder includes an open space limiting a channel for receiving a tool, made at the end for receiving a tool, mounting seat for spring and slots made along opposite sides. Handle also comprises a pressure button seat having a pair of arms arranged to move in the component holder slots. Handle includes a pin held by the arms in the seat and configured to move the seat radially into the channel for receiving the tool and therefrom, as well as a spring located in the mounting seat of the component holder spring between the component holder and the seat. Handle is made with pressing button passing through said hole in gripping part and adjacent to seat with provision, when user uses pressure force to push button, said seat is pressed down against spring action to move the seat arms to move pin in radial direction from channel to receive tool to release tool in channel. The socket is formed from the blank shown in Fig. 2, which is rectangular at 13, tapered at 14, and provided with projections 15, which are afterwards folded to form the bottom of the socket on which the handle 22 rests. A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. An industrial long handled tool component system is provided having interchangeable tool heads, connectors, handles and grips. The novel connector system provides a polygonal locking bar concentric with a round outer reinforcing collar both engaged by a material connector insert and separated by plastic isolations seals. The novel connector promotes connection integrity and prevents joint movement. An alternate embodiment provides a connector system without the collar to save weight and manufacturing cost.

Handle assemblies for coupling to a shaft are provided. Each assembly includes a handle having an end wall with a fastener passage extending therethrough and a side wall extending from the end wall to an open end. In one embodiment, an adapter assembly includes a nut, a collet having a fastener portion carrying the nut and a compression portion receiving the shaft, and a clamp mounted on the compression portion and tightened around the compression portion to compress the collet to the shaft. A fastener extends through the fastener passage and into the nut. In another embodiment, the handle defines a conical pocket in communication with the fastener passage. A hand tool assembly generally comprising a handle and a tool head combined by a connector. The handle has a first end and a second end. The connector has a first end and a second end. The first end of the connector is combined with the second end of the handle. The second end of the connector is combined with the head of a tool by inserting the connector into a socket/opening in the tool's head. The second end of the connector is flexible thereby allowing it to conform to the shape of the socket regardless of whether the socket is straight or curved. A rigid tube insert is positioned a short distance into the handle second end and extends a short distance outward from the handle second end. Adhesives or fasteners may be used to help secure the components together.

A drain cleaning apparatus includes a handle and a clog-catching member detachably connected to the handle. Wings, barbs or hooks project radially from the clog-catching member. The wings, barbs or hooks provide an angled projection that catches and holds a clump of debris in a drain pipe for pulling the clump out and unclogging the drain. Different end tools can be removably connected to a clog-catching member or to a smooth extension member to provide multifunctionality. In the groove a fixing unit is installed, stiff in the longitudinal and transverse directions, consisting of two identical in size rectangular metal frames, each of which in cross section has the shape of the U-profile. Metal frames are fixedly connected to each other to form a cross-section in the joint in the shape of an I-beam. In one of the frames two lateral planes, through grooves are made with the trough-shaped springs installed in them perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the handle, which ends are clamped between the joined frames. The body of the socket may be spun with an internal and external screw-thread, which may have the same pitch as the projecting screw. As shown in Fig. 1, a woodscrew 2 having a head 3 is passed through a square hole in the closed end of the socket or cap 1, which is secured to the end of the handle 7 bv nails &c. 4. A connector for multi-directionally mounting and securing a manual cleaning implement, such as a broom head, to a shaft, includes a main body portion having a collar for receiving the shaft. The main body portion has an upper mounting flange for mounting to an upper surface of the cleaning implement. The upper mounting flange has an opening therein for receiving a fastener, such as a bolt. The connector includes at least one lower mounting flange having a depending portion for extending around a side surface of the cleaning implement and a hook portion for mounting to a lower surface of the cleaning implement. The fastener is inserted into the opening in the upper mounting flange for multi- directionally securing the connector to the cleaning implement.

A press forming machine comprising driving shafts for pressing three or more respective pressure points and displacement measuring means for measuring a displacement close to the pressure point. A central driving shaft among the driving shafts has a gap (the slack) larger than those of other driving shafts between each of the driving shafts and a pressure plate. During press formation at a trial stage, a positional displacement close to each pressure point is measured by the displacement measuring means and control data is supplied to each driving source for driving a driving shaft to drive the pressure plate. Then, production press-formation is performed in accordance with the above result. Therefore, the central driving source can avoid overload by the slack of the driving shaft with the pressure plate.

As shown in Figs. 1 and 3, the sleeve a is split at b and is formed with three extensions d having barbs e at the ends. Holes c are formed for fixing by screws &c. to the handle, as shown in Fig. 3. In the modification shown in Fig. 2, the sleeve a has lugs f with holes g for a clamping-bolt.

Quick-load connector for a surgical tool

A mechanical connector designed to connect an orthopedic tool to a handle or motor. The connector includes a locking ball and spring-load sleeve mechanism that compresses a ball into an annular groove of the tool drive shaft, locking the shaft in the connector. The tool drive shaft is released from the connector by applying a force to the housing in a proximal direction. A portion of the housing removes the locking ball from the groove of the tool drive shaft, unlocking the shaft from the connector as the housing travels in a proximal direction.
