A system for fastening two parts at abutting surfaces by forming an in-situ fastener. A device selectively forms variable width through holes on two parts to be fastened, such that the width of each through hole is larger on the first surface than the opposing second surface. Opposing first and second platens selectively urge the second surfaces of the two parts into engagement while the through holes of the two parts are in fluid communication with each other. An injection system includes a flow passage through the first platen to the through hole on the part engaged by the first platen, and a pressurizing mechanism for urging the flowable and hardenable material through the flow passage and into the first and second through holes between the first and second platens under pressure. Pressure is maintained while the flowable and hardenable material hardens within the through holes.

A process for forming a two layer plastic device with textures or drawings thereon and a structure formed by the structure are provided. An inner bottom layer has textures or drawings on the surface thereof which includes at least one enclosing space. A through hole is formed on the enclosing space so that the masking material can be filled into the space between the outer mold and the inner mold. Then the masking material enters into the enclosing space through the through hole. As a result, only one mold (the outer mold) is necessary for forming the masking layer, while in the prior art, two molds are needed. A color of the masking layer may be different from that of the inner bottom layer so that the textures or drawings clearly exposes on the surface of the masking layer. 1. A process for forming a two layer plastic device with textures or drawings thereon and a structure formed by the structure are provided. An inner bottom layer has textures or drawings on the surface thereof which includes at least one enclosing space. A through hole is formed on the enclosing space so that the masking material can be filled into the space between the outer mold and the inner mold. Then the masking material enters into the enclosing space through the through hole. As a result, only one mold (the outer mold) is necessary for forming the masking layer, while in the prior art, two molds are needed. The whole process can be completed mechanically without any manual operation. A color of the masking layer may be different from that of the inner bottom layer so that the textures or drawings clearly exposes on the surface of the masking layer.

The method includes step 1: providing a mold, the mold having a plurality of cavities thereon, a wear-resistant material being injected into the cavities of the mold; step 2: placing a deck in the mold so that the wear-resistant material is bonded to a surface of the deck to form a plurality of massage protrusions on the deck; and step 3: demoulding the deck from the mold, the surface of the deck being formed with the massage protrusions to form the massage wear-resistant treadmill deck. A wear-resistant layer having the massage protrusions is first formed in the mold, and then the deck is placed into the mold to bond with the wear-resistant layer to form the massage wear-resistant treadmill deck. The manufacturing cost is reduced and the manufacturing mobility is improved.
