При необходимости осуществляют принуждение к одной операции или к обеим из следующих операций: удаление газа из герметично закрытой камеры упаковки (24) и газовая инжекция газовой смеси управляемого состава. Осуществляют тепловое запечатывание листа пленки (18) к подложке (4). The hot bar is moved toward the SMD by a main mounting bracket attached to a soldering machine until it contacts the leads to be soldered. When the hot bar contacts an uneven surface, a force is applied to a set of angularly mounted slides which are coupled to ends of a rocking bracket that has the hot bar mounted to its center section. Each angular slide is attached to a support plate at an angle such that it is tangent to an arc defined by the pivot point at the center of the base of the hot bar. As the angular slides move along such arc, the hot bar pivots and thereby adjusts to any unevenness so that optimum thermal contact is made with all the leads to be soldered.

Improved moisture absorption solder heat resistance is obtained in producing a metallic foil laminate body having a metal foil attached on both sides of a laminated base material including a plurality of insulating base materials. A laminated base material ( 2 ) is first prepared by pressurizing and integrating a plurality of insulating base materials ( 2 a ) in a prepressing step. Then, the laminated base material ( 2 ) is heat-treated. Thereafter, this laminated base material ( 2 ) is sandwiched between a pair of metal foils ( 3 A) and ( 3 B), and heated and pressurized to be integrated into a metallic foil laminate body. The prepressing step makes it possible to prevent an interface between the insulating base materials ( 2 a ) from being generated. As a result, swelling is not generated on the surfaces of the insulating base materials ( 2 a ).

A method for performing a sealing operation on a linearly moving web , the method comprising:moving the web along a linear web path passing between a first seal plate having a first seal area and a second seal plate;implementing a motion profile for the first seal plate and the second seal plate, the motion profile including a first vector component in which the first and second seal plates are linearly moved substantially parallel with the linear web path at a velocity substantially equal to a velocity of the web, and a second vector component in which the first and second seal plates are moved into contact with the web to perform the sealing operation while the web moves along the linear web path, wherein implementing the motion profile includes maintaining the first and second seal plates substantially parallel to each other and to the linear web path when the first and second seal plates are moved into contact with the web; andapplying a desired pressure between the first and second seal plates throughout the sealing operation, wherein applying a desired pressure includes using at least one air cylinder to distribute the desired pressure about the first seal area.3. A protective wrap material enclosing a stack of cut sheets of paper is folded so that overlapping flaps of the wrap material cover opposite ends of the stack. The overlapping flaps are secured and sealed together only at selected areas that comprise a minor portion of the overlapped flaps, wherein the sealed areas have sufficient burst strength to avoid inadvertent opening of the wrap but at the same time are relatively easy to separate when it is desired to open the wrap to gain access to the cut sheets of paper. In a preferred embodiment the wrap material is heat sealable, and a modified heat plate for applying heat only to the selected areas has a grooved front surface defining heat focusing bars that concentrate heat sufficient to fuse the wrap material only in the selected areas. 1. A stack of cut sheets of paper wrapped with a protective wrap material enclosing the stack and folded so that overlapping flaps of the wrap material cover opposite ends of the stack , said overlapping flaps being secured and sealed together only at selected areas that comprise a minor portion of the overlapped flaps , wherein the sealed areas have sufficient burst strength to avoid inadvertent opening of the wrap but at the same time are relatively easy to separate when it is desired to open the wrap to gain access to the cut sheets of paper.2. A belt press uses differential thermal expansion between parts of a platen assembly to generate pressure. The belt press typically includes substantially aluminum platen assemblies that are connected such that movement of the second press surface away from said first press surface is limited. A plurality of expansion limiting rods are aligned generally parallel to the top platen's longitudinal axis and attached thereto. The expansion limiting rods preferably are attached via adjustable couplings to sturdy anchor bars laterally disposed across the platen and rest against two or more bridging rods midway along the length of the platens. The expansion limiting rods have a coefficient of thermal expansion that is smaller than the coefficient of thermal expansion for the platens. When the platen assemblies are heated, the expansion limiting rods resist the thermal expansion of the platen assemblies and press inwardly against the platens, thereby generating a compression force for joining or repairing a belt between press surfaces by leveraging off the high temperatures typically required for belt joint forming, rather than from some additional force supplier such as high pressure air or hydraulic lines.

The object is applied to the glass surface by a platen assembly mounted inside the apparatus which resiliently urges the object against the glass surface. In one embodiment, the platen assembly is mounted on a resilient diaphragm within the apparatus and the application of a vacuum causes the diaphragm to move the platen assembly towards the object, thereby causing the platen assembly to urge the object against the glass surface. In a second embodiment, the platen assembly is mounted to the apparatus shell or housing and the apparatus is sealed against the glass surface by a resilient bellows. Upon application of a vacuum, the bellows compresses, thereby causing the platen assembly to urge the object against the glass surface.

By selectively controlling the constituents of the composite and the method by which it is formed, the present inventors have discovered that the composite may be resistant to oils and other skin care compositions. More specifically, the elastic film is formed from one or more low density semi-crystalline propylene-based polymers that possess a unique combination of mechanical, elastic, and oil-resistant properties. By using such elastomeric polymers, the resulting elastic film may also be thermally bonded to the nonwoven web material(s) without the need for oil-resistant adhesives. Further, the bonding conditions may be selected so that apertures do not form in the film. In this manner, the resulting composite is impervious to oils or other liquids (e.g., solvents, water, solutions, etc.) and thus acts as a barrier during use.

An apparatus for making a composite roofing material includes a reel support for reels of each of a vulcanized rubber sheet, a polymeric film and a fleece matting and pinch rollers which advance the rubber sheet from its reel through a path including an abrading roller, a cleaning and scrubbing vat, a stretcher, a heater and then, along with the polymer film and the matting, through a pair of compression pinch rollers. The cleaning and scrubbing vat effectively removes the non-stick talc coating from the vulcanized rubber. The thus cleaned rubber sheet is heated by the heater to a temperature which is sufficient to melt the polymeric film as it comes into contact with the vulcanized rubber sheet. The melted film acts as an adhesive to cause the fleece matting to adhere to the vulcanized rubber sheet as the rubber sheet, the polymeric film and the fleece matting are compressed together by the compression pinch rollers. When the rolls of polymeric film and fleece matting are somewhat narrower than the vulcanized rubber sheet, a selvedge is left along one or both sides of the roofing.

FIELD: packing and storage. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of feeding film sheets into a packaging unit of a packaging device. Technical result is achieved by method, where package unit (8) contains lower (22) and upper (21) devices, which interact, determining packing chamber (24). In the first operating state of package assembly (8), the upper and lower devices (21, 22) are spatially separated from each other and package chamber (24) is open, and in the second operating state of packaging unit (8), packaging chamber (24) is closed, preferably tightly, relative to the atmosphere outside device (1). Method includes a step for unwinding an uncut film from roll (10) of a film supply unit and placing it in a film cutting unit. Then, uncut film is cut to produce one or more cut film sheets (18). Note here that said assembly cuts uncut film to produce cut film sheets (18) outside packaging chamber (24) of the packaging device and before feeding cut film sheets into the packaging chamber. Then one or more cut film sheets (18) are fed into packing chamber (24). Step of feeding one or more cut film sheets (18) into packaging chamber (24) is carried out by means of transfer device (7) comprising support structure (16), comprising flat retaining surface (17) serving to produce at least one or more sheets of film (18), and a device acting on supporting structure (16) and performing relative movement of supporting structure (16) relative to package assembly (8) between a first position, in which supporting structure (16) is installed in the film cutting unit (6), and at least the second position in which supporting structure (16) is placed in packing chamber (24). Members especially hollow members 10, 12 such as pipes and pipe fittings one member 12 of cross-linked polyethylene say and the other member 10 of medium density polyethylene say are joined by fusion using a butt fusion machine. End surfaces of the members are pressed at higher pressure against a hot plate 18 to upset only the medium density material to form beads 20, 22. No cross-linked material is upset to form beads. The pressure is reduced during a soak stage then the plate is removed and the surfaces are mutually engaged at the higher pressure. The beads formed are adjacent the interface between the members and both beads are offset towards the medium density material, member 10. Careful alignment will avoid faults caused when the beads do not cover exposed parts of end surfaces. Other materials include polypropylene, copolymer or monopolymer types. Natural gas distribution systems can be fabricated using the invention.
