In an example embodiment, items that are to be placed into a target shape are sorted based on size to form item groups that include similarly sized items. A cutter can move a movable knife by two cutter drive gears without the movable knife becoming skewed. The cutter of a mobile printer has a fixed knife , and a cutter drive mechanism that moves the movable knife straight to and away from the fixed knife . The cutter drive mechanism has two cutter drive gears that are driven synchronously, and a cutter drive plate disposed between the two cutter drive gears and the movable knife . The two cutter drive gears cause the cutter drive plate to move to and away from the movable knife on a longitudinal axis Y (direction of travel), thereby moving the movable knife to and away from the cutter drive plate . If the cutter drive plate becomes skewed when the two cutter drive gears move the cutter drive plate , the guide mechanism prevents skewing of the movable knife 1. A printing device for printing on a label sheet includes a first print head to perform printing on a first side of a label sheet being conveyed along a conveyance path. The label sheet is interposed between the first print head and a first roller. A second print head is upstream of the first print head and performs printing on a second side of the label sheet. A second roller is adjacent the second print head across the conveyance path. A cutter is downstream of the first print head to cut off a first portion of the label sheet. A processor is configured to cause the label sheet to be conveyed in a second direction after the first portion is cut off from the sheet so that the cut end of the sheet reaches the first print head.

Provided is a manufacturing method that may improve the degree of freedom in designing and manufacturing a product in which a permeable medium is used. The manufacturing method may include: an image printing step of forming an image by inkjet printing on a permeable medium based on processing data (S); a cutting step of cutting the permeable medium into parts in shapes based on the processing data after the image is printed on the permeable medium by inkjet printing in the image printing step (S); and an assembling step of assembling the parts into a product (S). The image printing step uses an ink for image printing that can be dried and fixed after a solvent is vaporized from the ink heated by ultraviolet irradiation. 1.
