The process makes it possible to eliminate bubbles which accumulate under adhesively attached films. For this purpose, the bubbles are pricked by a thin needle and adhesive is injected into the area of the bubble. The accessories for carrying out this process are combined in pack units which essentially comprise seal-in films. Syringes, canulas and suitable adhesives are packed together in loose or stiffened pack units. For professional applications, injecting devices which inject the adhesive into the bubble by compressed gas are suitable.

The frame 1 of the machine may be collapsable. A sliding or otherwise moveable leaf may replace the hinged leaf 8. In a modification the frame consists of a box with a hinged lid which stands on end partly open with hinges vertical when supporting the trough and tables. These may be packed into the box for transport. A second modification has an inverted V stand, which may be a box and lid, and a cross braced girder-like support for the tables and trough. A wallpaper glue applicator which can accommodate different thicknesses of wallpaper is disclosed. The applicator comprises a channel member 10 with a glue receiving space 11, a cover member 20, an applicator roller 30 and a pair of roller position adjusting units 40. The channel member comprises a base plate 13 having a scraper 133 and walls 14, each wall having a top edge formed with an inverted T-shaped notch 16. In use, the adjusting units are slid laterally within their respective notches and clamped in a desired position. This allows the position of the roller in the channel member, and thus the gap between the roller and the scraper, to be adjusted. The applicator is also readily dissembled for cleaning, and does not require the use of tools for its assembly or disassembly.

The apparatus 10 comprises two plywood rectangular board members 11 and 12 which are joined by screws (not shown) at their upper edges to a plastic connection member 13 which comprises an inverted length of plastic trough. The trimming and pasting device is similar to those described in Specifications 9453/11 and 26,534/11, and is supported by means of a rod 15 mounted on links 16 attached to brackets 17 on the side wall of a casing 11. The opposite side 13 is hinged to the base as shown, and the top 14 is hinged to it. The pasting and other apparatus is supported in the working position shown in full lines by struts 18, 19 and can be turned down into the dotted-line position when inoperative. Two similar side plate3 21 are connected together by stay-bolts 22 supporting a paste reservoir, in which a roller 24 dips.
