A lever latch/strap tie system that can include a screw-down lock mechanism that securely holds a brake plate against the strap. Generally, the strap-locking latch of the present invention has a latch frame that receives a strap so that the strap lies flat against at least a portion of the latch frame. A locking lever engages the strap and presses a portion of the strap against the latch frame. A screw-down knob, or other locking knob abuts a braking plate where the braking plate is positioned above the strap. When the screw-down knob is tightened, it securely clamps the strap between the braking plate and the latch frame. The brake plate can contain at least one insert which contacts said strap when the screw-down clamp is tightened. This can be a grommet or other insert. This increases the friction and further prevents slipping. The entire product including the latch and hook can be scalable to different size straps such as 1 inch, 1.5 inches, 2 inches and the like. A slitted hook can allow a pre-sewn strap to be inserted during assembly.

A strap assembly can hold a tire of a vehicle to a bed of a transport. A securing segment of the strap assembly goes around a tire being held. A first support arm of the securing segment is placed over an outer face of the tire. A second support arm of the securing segment is placed over the inner face of the tire. A cargo strap monitoring system for real-time detection and reporting of cargo strap failure is provided. The cargo strap monitoring system may be a detector in the form of a cylinder that fits a winch slot. The cylinder provides a housing for circuitry operably linked to a pressure sensor. During normal operation a cargo strap is wrapped around and deployed from the spindle. The pressure sensor detects unsafe tension in the cargo strap. A system and method for securing a container to a transport surface is disclosed. The system includes a capture member and a locking member. The locking member is configured to be attached to the surface and to securely engage one end of the capture member. The capture member includes one end configured to securely engage the locking member and a second end configured to securely engage the container. The locking member is optionally configured to require a key to disengage the capture member from the locking member. The method includes attaching the locking member to the surface, disposing a container on the surface next to the locking member, and positioning the capture member such that it securely engages the locking member at one end and securely engages the container at the other end, and thereby secures the container to the surface. 1. A hydraulic fracturing system has a pump driven by an electrically powered motor. The pump pressurizes fluid which is piped into a wellbore to fracture a subterranean formation. The pump and motor are mounted on a trailer that is hitched to a tractor. A platform assembly is mounted onto the trailer, and which is selectively moveable between deployed and stowed configurations. The platform assembly includes a platform, a lateral rail assembly mounted to the platform, and gates on the forward and aft ends of the platform. The rail assembly and gates define a safety barrier to prevent operations personnel from falling off the platform. In the stowed configuration the platform assembly is anchored in place over wheels on the trailer. In the deployed configuration, the platform assembly provides work surface so that operations personnel can readily access the pump on the trailer. 1.
