При резком нажатии на педаль «акселератора» происходит ускоренное движение магнита 10 в полости катушки 9, в результате этого формируется импульс тока такой амплитуды, при которой происходит срабатывание порогового элемента 4, с одновременным изменением состояния датчика 6 положения педали «акселератора» (его контакты замыкаются). Срабатывает коммутирующее устройство 3, на звуковой сигнализатор 7 подается питание, последние включаются - водитель получает извещение о неправильности нажатия на педаль «акселератора». The invention provides notification externally of a vehicle that the vehicle's seatbelts are not being used or are being used improperly. In a first embodiment, an external lamp is connected to a seat belt interlock. If a seat belt is being used properly during vehicle operations, the external lamp will not be illuminated, but if the seat belt is not being used or is being used improperly during vehicle operations, the external lamp will be illuminated. In a second embodiment, a transmitter generates a signal if a seat belt is not being used or is being used improperly during vehicle operations. The signal is transmitted to a receiver that is in electrical communication with a camera in the immediate vicinity. Upon receipt of such a signal, the camera and a video recorder will be activated and a visual image or a sequence of visual images of the vehicle will be taken and recorded. In a third embodiment, a transmitter generates a signal if a seat belt is not being used or is being used improperly during vehicle operations. A law enforcement vehicle such as a police car includes a receiver adapted to receive the signal and an annunciator. When the receiver receives a signal, the annunicator will be activated and a law enforcement officer in the police car will be notified that a vehicle is being operated nearby in violation of the seatbelt-usage laws. Consequently, the law enforcement officer will be able to locate the vehicle and take appropriate enforcement action.

Embodiments include a crash detector operable to detect a crash of a vehicle, a transmitter to transmit a warning signal (typically, radio frequency) from the crashed vehicle, a receiver to receive a transmitted crash warning signal, and a display to warn the operator of an approaching vehicle of the crash. Some embodiments incorporate feedback from a vehicle's air-bag deployment circuitry to provide a trigger effective to broadcast the crash warning signal. Desirably, the operator of an approaching vehicle is provided with at least one, if not both, of a visual and an audible warning signal. Certain embodiments provide such audible and/or visual warning to approaching vehicles via the transmitted warning signal and a display and/or speaker carried in the approaching vehicle. Sometimes, audible and visual warnings may be transmitted directly from the crashed vehicle.

1. A new, self contained, Disabled Auto Alert device(portable emergency flasher device), primarily but not limited to, the identification at a reasonable distance of a disabled or elderly persons as being in a state of distress or in need of assistance along a public roadway or other places. The selection and utilization of a distinctive color of the flashing light source (purple/magenta) is critical to the functional utility of the device. This purpose of the unique color is to prevent confusion with other common emergency lighting devices. Examples include the blue lights of police vehicles, red and amber (yellow) lights common to official emergency vehicles such as fire trucks and ambulances or the colors of traffic control lights and road hazard signaling. The intent of the flasher is to radiate the light of suitable color and brightness in all directions of approximately a half hemisphere or along a more or less horizontal plane. 2. The light production occurs by using a plurality of methods. For example, a single light source of the appropriate color, with suitable optics generating the desired illumination pattern, or by the use of multiple light sources with or without optics to achieve the same result. The light source may be a combination of colored light emitting devices mixed in certain ratios that yield the desired color.

A warning signal can be initiated to turn the headlights on during a special situation utilizing a signal generator.

The invention is directed to a warning message system for the deterrence of tailgating. The system provides one or more photoelectric sensors on the rear bumper of the user's vehicle, which determine the distance between the user's vehicle and any vehicle which may be following. The system then compares this distance to the speed of the user's vehicle to determine whether the driver of the following vehicle is allowing a safe stopping distance between vehicles. A signalling system for vehicles , comprising one or more optical sensors for removable attachment to a respective vehicle light , which sensors are configured to generate a signal responsive to detecting emitted light from the vehicle light to which it is attached , the system being arranged responsive to receiving a signal from the one or more optical sensors to output a signal to an external signalling unit to cause a corresponding light on said external signalling unit to operate and the system further comprising one or more proximity sensors adapted for retrofitting to a vehicular trailer board , and means for relaying signals produced by the parking sensors to an audible or visual unit which may be carried within the vehicle.2. The signalling system of claim 1 , wherein plural optical sensors are provided claim 1 , each connected to a control unit by means of respective lengthwise conductors claim 1 , the control unit comprising circuitry for relaying the sensor signals to corresponding lights of an external signalling unit.3.
