Um einfache Herstellungsbedingungen zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Vorratsrollen (1) jeweils in eine gasdichte Hülle (4) aus zwei mit Ausnahme einer Einführöffnung (7) randseitig miteinander verbundenen, zugfesten Deckfolien (5, 6) eingesetzt und in eine Vakuumkammer (2) gebracht werden und dass die Einführöffnung (7) der Hülle (4) nach einer Evakuierung der Vakuumkammer (2) gasdicht verschlossen wird, bevor die Vorratsrollen (1) durch eine Belüftung der Vakuumkammer (2) flachgedrückt werden.

Anschliessend wird die Sicherheitsvakuumverpackung (1) über einen Vakuumverschluss (11) vakuumiert, wobei die Vielzahl von Partikeln (15) in einem zufälligen unbeweglichen Zustand fixiert werden. An apparatus collects liquid in a vacuum bag for vacuum packaging a product, such as a food product, wherein a vacuum is drawn in the vacuum bag by a vacuum sealer, which also seals the vacuum bag after the vacuum is formed. The liquid collecting apparatus includes a housing configured to be placed in the vacuum bag between the product and an open end of the bag that is configured to be received in the vacuum sealer. The housing includes a side wall defining an interior space and at least one opening that extends through the side wall. The at least one opening is configured so that air drawn out of the vacuum bag can pass through the housing via the at least one opening and exit the vacuum bag through the open end, and liquid can enter the interior of the housing, but is prevented from escaping and thereby captured. 1. A vacuum low-temperature cooker includes a main body having a heating unit immersed in fluid accommodated in an accommodation tub and heating the fluid, a vacuum packaging unit connected to the main body and vacuum-sealing a packaging film, and a control unit installed in the main body or the vacuum packaging unit, and electrically connected to the heating unit and the vacuum packaging unit so as to control the heating unit and the vacuum packaging unit. 1. A vacuum low-temperature cooker , comprising:a main body having a heating unit immersed in fluid accommodated in an accommodation tub and heating the fluid;a vacuum packaging unit connected to the main body and vacuum-sealing a packaging film; anda control unit installed in the main body or the vacuum packaging unit, and electrically connected to the heating unit and the vacuum packaging unit so as to control the heating unit and the vacuum packaging unit.2. The vacuum low-temperature cooker of claim 1 , wherein a vacuum pump claim 1 , providing air suction power to the vacuum packaging unit claim 1 , and the control unit are installed in the main body claim 1 , andthe vacuum packaging unit and the main body are connected by a connection cable so as to be in air and electrical communication with each other.3. The present invention relates a method for increasing the shelf life of fruit comprising the steps of: treating a fruit with UV light from a UV light source, packaging the fruit in packaging film that allows the fruit to be stored in a modified atmosphere within said film, and storing the packaged fruit. 1. A method for increasing the shelf life of fruit comprising the steps of:i) treating a fruit with UV light from a UV light source,ii) packaging the fruit in packaging film that allows the fruit to be stored in a modified atmosphere within the film, andiii) storing the packaged fruit;wherein the method is capable of increasing the shelf life of the packaged fruit by at least 1 day when the packaged fruit is stored at an ambient temperature and/orwherein the method is capable of increasing the shelf life of the packaged fruit by at least 5 days when the packaged fruit is stored at a chilled temperature; andwherein the film is a modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) film.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modified atmosphere comprises ozone.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the MAP film has an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of about 20000 cc/m/day to about 60000 cc/m/day.4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modified atmosphere comprises from about 8% to about 17% Oand/or from about 4% to about 13% COafter 10 days storage at an ambient temperature.5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the incidence of rot is reduced in the fruit.6. The method according to of claim 5 ,wherein the incidence of rot is reduced by at least 50% when the fruit is stored at an ambient temperature for 3 days; and/orwherein the incidence of rot is reduced by at least 50% when the fruit is stored at a chilled temperature for 3 days.7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising a step of positioning the fruit in a holder such that the stem faces the UV light source during the treatment with UV light.8.
