The invention relates to a method for providing a packaging for modified atmosphere packaging, which method comprises the steps of: providing an unfolded sheet for folding a box; folding the unfolded sheet to a box having at least an access opening and flange parts bordering the access opening, which flange parts compose an endless circumferential flange; providing a plastic foil; heating the plastic foil; pressing the heated plastic foil against the inner wall of the box and covering the circumferential flange, such that the plastic foil is laminated to box. The invention further relates to a packaging. 1. A method for providing a packaging for modified atmosphere packaging , comprising the steps of:providing an unfolded sheet for folding a box;folding the unfolded sheet to a box having at least an access opening and horizontal flange parts bordering the access opening, which flange parts compose an endless circumferential flange;providing a plastic foil;heating the plastic foil; andpressing the heated plastic foil against the inner wall of the box and covering the circumferential flange, such that the plastic foil is laminated to box.2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein adjacent edges of flange parts abut claim 1 , such that the flange parts are all arranged in a single plane.3. Methods and apparatus for manufacturing a microwavable food container include: forming a wire mesh over a mold comprising a mirror image of the microwavable food container; immersing the wire mesh in a fiber-based slurry bath; drawing a vacuum across the wire mesh to cause fiber particles to accumulate at the wire mesh surface; and removing the wire mesh including the accumulated fiber particles from the slurry bath; wherein the slurry comprises a moisture barrier, an oil barrier, and a vapor barrier. 1. A method of manufacturing a microwavable food container , comprising:forming a wire mesh over a mold comprising a mirror image of the microwavable food container;immersing the wire mesh in a fiber-based slurry bath;drawing a vacuum across the wire mesh to cause fiber particles to accumulate at the wire mesh surface; andremoving the wire mesh including the accumulated fiber particles from the slurry bath;wherein the slurry comprises a moisture barrier, an oil barrier, and a vapor barrier.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the slurry further comprises a retention aid.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein:the moisture barrier comprises in the range of 0.5%-10% of the slurry weight; andthe oil barrier comprises in the range of 0.5%-10% of the slurry weight.4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the moisture barrier is in the range of about 1.5%-4% claim 2 , the oil barrier is in the range of about 1%-4% claim 2 , and the retention aid is in the range of about 0.1%-0.5%.5. Collapsible reusable carrying cases are provided in sizes varying from small food containers to large push cart bins on casters. The cases are assembled or disassembled from a joined flat space-saving configuration to a functioning case and vice-versa. All parts that make up a carrying case do not separate from the carrying case and no parts can be removed. The cases are formed from rigid plastic panels, and are assembled or disassembled without tools. The sides of the cases are erected progressively by hand by interlocking elements at the corners. The panels also disassemble progressively by being manually pulled apart. When folded into a flat storage or shipping configuration, the panels stay together, resisting unfolding by virtue of snaps which are either molded into the panels or bonded to them. The carrying cases are resistant to water, dirt, bacteria, molds, allergens, and inclement weather.

Disclosed herein are devices and methods useful in apportioning a liquid product into solid doses, wherein individual doses comprise equivalent amounts of an active ingredient. In an exemplary embodiment, a sealable container with integrated multiple cells for dosing of small amounts of dried concentrated crystalline extract is described. The containers allow for ease in transport, shipment, storage, and apportionment/dispensing of the dried extract. Different containers may have various sizes and shapes of cells, however, each cell in a given container holds and/or defines a similar amount of dried extract. The container may further include a cap or lid structure for securing the container and containing the dried extract. In most cases, the container is manufactured from a heat resistant, food-grade, pliable polymer to aid in dispensing individual doses of the dried extract. 1. The flanged container for a dairy product or similar food composition is provided with a hollow body and a generally planar annular flange connected to the top of the body, the flange having outer straight side edges and an inner edge defining a circular upper opening of the container. The body has a planar bottom and a lower portion tapering from a generally cylindrical upper portion toward the bottom in a curved manner. The lower portion has a height h1 in some embodiments not less than 14 mm and the ratio h1/H is less than 2:5 where H is the height of the container. The side wall of the body has a thickness profile such that the average thickness of the lower portion is more than the average thickness of the upper portion. Several identical containers can be grouped in a pack with breakable junctions at the outer straight side edges.
