The present invention relates to improvements in the dispensing of foodstuffs from piping bags. The use of piping bags to dispense decorative materials, such as icing, on to surfaces is well known and has been in use for many years. When used in conjunction with a nozzle, such piping bags allow for the dispensing of decorative materials to create messages or patterns. The nozzle can have a variety different shapes and sizes which allow for the ribbon of decorative material to have the desired appearance when expelled from the bag. The present invention seeks to provide a piping bag and nozzle assembly which allows for the simultaneous and controllable dispensing of two or more decorative materials on to surfaces to create messages or patterns. 1. This invention is directed toward an applicator used for evenly spreading a cream from a tube to which the applicator is attached. The applicator has a base unit that fits over the opening in the tube of cream and directs the cream through a hole in applicator unit, which is the upper part of the invention. The applicator unit has a spreader, which evenly distributes the cream onto a non-planar surface. The spreader is made from flexible, resilient material, and has a tip and wings that emanate out from the hole in the top of the spreader. When the applicator is used to spread cream in a crevice, the tip retains any excess cream behind it, and the wings bend back and evenly spread the cream along the sides of the crevice. The wings have side bevels that remove any sharp edges on the wings.

Instant self-heating containers include a combinable reactant and activator used to generate an exothermic reaction for heating contents of the container. One instant self-heating container includes a target container, a pierceable activator container and a reaction chamber. Piercing the activator container causes activator to combine with the reactant and cause an exothermic reaction that heats the target container. The container may be used as depilatory wax dispenser. Another instant self-heating container includes an outer housing containing a contents pouch and a reactant, and capped by a lid having an activator chamber. Rupturing the activator chamber allows activator to combine with the reactant in an exothermic reaction to heat the contents pouch. Another instant self-heating container includes a flexible outer tube containing contents to be heated, a flexible reaction vessel, and a frangible activator vessel. Bending the outer tube causes the activator vessel to rupture and cause an exothermic reaction.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an attachment mechanism capable of being attached to a variety of solution sources. An edible paste dispenser for applying decorative icing to cakes and other foods includes a tip assembly that connects paste containing chambers of a dual-chamber pastry bag and directs edible paste into a common extrusion nozzle. The tip assembly includes a pair of mating tubes secured via a locking nut to the extrusion nozzle. The tubes each have a sidewall portion that is generally S-shaped in cross-section and permits stable assembly and cooperative engagement of one tube with the other tube. After insertion of a tube into each pastry bag chamber, the tubes are attached to a common extrusion nozzle. The resulting extruded paste can include two different colored decorations, which can appear swirled S or other curvilinear shape provided by the two engaged cones. The tips of the cones, and paste containing bags, terminate just above the exit portal of the common nozzle.

The food products remain separate within the tube without the need for barriers but are excreted in a combinatory form. A dispensing device may be used to dispense fluids for a variety of uses. A dispensing device may include a flexible tube body with a nozzle coupled to a first end of the flexible tube body. A closure location may be coupled to a second end of the flexible tube body. At least one seal may be coupled to the flexible tube body at a location between the nozzle and the closure location. The at least one seal separates the flexible tube body into a plurality of chambers when the at least one seal is sealed. Additionally, a plunger may be placed in the flexible tube body and may fit in the chambers.

Articles of manufacture are disclosed for sanitary dispensing of lotion and tooth-paste. In various embodiments each lotion or toothpaste tube has at least two dispensing ports, each of which may be assigned to an individual household member.
