The present invention relates to improvements in the dispensing of foodstuffs from piping bags. The use of piping bags to dispense decorative materials, such as icing, on to surfaces is well known and has been in use for many years. When used in conjunction with a nozzle, such piping bags allow for the dispensing of decorative materials to create messages or patterns. The nozzle can have a variety different shapes and sizes which allow for the ribbon of decorative material to have the desired appearance when expelled from the bag. Existing piping bags are limited in that they typically only have a single compartment in which the decorative material can be placed. The present invention seeks to provide a piping bag and nozzle assembly which allows for the simultaneous and controllable dispensing of two or more decorative materials on to surfaces to create messages or patterns. 1. This invention relates to a specially adapted spouted closure that has oppositely positioned protruding tabular features that enable it to be heat welded or bonded to another closure of the same kind as shown in FIG. The protruding tabs being so formed to enable a plurality of closures to form chains and to allow a degree of movement in an orthogonal direction to the orientation of the spout. The part of the rigid closure that attaches to the flexible part of the packaging being orientated in a way that allows adjacent containers to overlap with one another. This invention is directed toward an applicator used for evenly spreading a cream from a tube to which the applicator is attached. The applicator has a base unit that fits over the opening in the tube of cream and directs the cream through a hole in applicator unit, which is the upper part of the invention. The applicator unit has a spreader, which evenly distributes the cream onto a non-planar surface. The spreader is made from flexible, resilient material, and has a tip and wings that emanate out from the hole in the top of the spreader. When the applicator is used to spread cream in a crevice, the tip retains any excess cream behind it, and the wings bend back and evenly spread the cream along the sides of the crevice. The wings have side bevels that remove any sharp edges on the wings.

Instant self-heating containers include a combinable reactant and activator used to generate an exothermic reaction for heating contents of the container. One instant self-heating container includes a target container, a pierceable activator container and a reaction chamber. Piercing the activator container causes activator to combine with the reactant and cause an exothermic reaction that heats the target container. The container may be used as depilatory wax dispenser. Another instant self-heating container includes an outer housing containing a contents pouch and a reactant, and capped by a lid having an activator chamber. Rupturing the activator chamber allows activator to combine with the reactant in an exothermic reaction to heat the contents pouch. Another instant self-heating container includes a flexible outer tube containing contents to be heated, a flexible reaction vessel, and a frangible activator vessel. Bending the outer tube causes the activator vessel to rupture and cause an exothermic reaction.

Articles of manufacture are disclosed for sanitary dispensing of lotion and tooth-paste. In various embodiments each lotion or toothpaste tube has at least two dispensing ports, each of which may be assigned to an individual household member. In some embodiments the dispensing ports may be stacked on top of each other or may be placed side by side or be located at different parts of the lotion or toothpaste tube. In some other embodiments the dispensing ports may be colored differently or may be different in size and/or appearance. In various embodiments the dispensing ports may be opened by unscrewing, turning, pushing, pulling, lifting, or by a combination thereof. In yet other embodiments small pumps may be used to dispense the lotion or tooth paste. According to the present disclosure, inexpensive multi-port dispensing heads may be manufactured separately for retrofitting any store-bought lotion or toothpaste tube. 1. A hygienic toothpaste dispenser comprising:a paste reservoir having at least one outlet opening from which a paste may leave the reservoir; andat least two dispensing ports attached to the outlet opening.2. The toothpaste dispenser of claim 1 , wherein at least one dispensing port has a screw-on cap or a paste pump.3. The toothpaste dispenser of claim 1 , wherein the paste reservoir is made of plastic or aluminum or a combination of both.4. The toothpaste dispenser of claim 1 , wherein the paste reservoir is squeezable or non-squeezable.5. The toothpaste dispenser of claim 1 , wherein multiple dispensing ports are attached to at least one of the outlet openings.6. The toothpaste dispenser of claim 5 , wherein the multiple dispensing ports claim 5 , attached to at least one of the outlet openings claim 5 , are stacked on top of each other or are separate from each other.7. A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material contained in a flexible package has a hollow body extending along a longitudinal axis, a first end with a handle assembly, an opposite second end with a dispensing valve, and a cavity configured to receive the flexible package. A piston is movably disposed in the cavity for engagement with the flexible package to force viscous material from the flexible package. A diverter insert is also disposed in the cavity and is configured to receive the viscous material from the flexible package as the piston moves and divert the viscous material to the dispensing valve. 1. A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material contained in a flexible package having a dispensing fitment , the dispenser comprising:a hollow body extending along a longitudinal axis and having a first end, an opposite second end and a cavity positioned therebetween configured to receive the flexible package;a plurality of dispensing valves positioned at the second end of the hollow body;a piston movably disposed in the cavity for engagement with the flexible package; anda diverter insert positioned in the cavity and configured to receive the viscous material from the flexible package as the piston moves and to divert the viscous material to the plurality of dispensing valves,wherein each of the plurality of dispensing valves are radially offset from the longitudinal axis and wherein the diverter insert has a first interior sidewall configured to receive the dispensing fitment of the flexible package and a second interior sidewall configured to radially outwardly divert the viscous material from the first interior sidewall to the dispensing valves.2.
