Die Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass die Langfasern (3) eine Faserlänge (L1) im Bereich von 80 mm bis 120 mm aufweisen.

Due to this, at the time of peeling the adhesive sheet from the ground semiconductor wafer, the semiconductor wafer used to be damaged. This phenomenon is likely to occur for a thinner semiconductor wafer. The present invention resides in an adhesive sheet including a substrate and an adhesive layer disposed on the substrate. The substrate is formed of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 10% by mass or less. The adhesive layer contains 100 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylate ester copolymer, 1 to 10 parts by mass of a cross-linker, 0.05 to 5 parts by mass of a silicone compound. The (meth)acrylate ester copolymer is formed of a copolymer produced by polymerizing a (meth)acrylate ester monomer and a functional-group-containing monomer.

In general, the invention features a pressure sensitive adhesive that comprises the reaction product of: (a) from about 25 to about 95 parts by weight of at least one acrylic acid ester of a monohydric alcohol whose homopolymer has a T g less than 0° C., (b) from 0 to about 75 parts by weight of at least one non-polar ethylenically unsaturated monomer whose homopolymer has a solubility parameter of no greater than 10.50 and a T g greater than 15° C.; and (c) from about 5 to about 35 parts by weight of at least one polar ethylenically unsaturated monomer whose homopolymer has a solubility parameter of greater than 10.50 and a T g greater than 15° C. The pressure sensitive adhesives adhere to substrates having a low surface energy and/or high surface energy.

One embodiment of the double sided adhesive film of the present invention is a double sided adhesive film which has an adhesive layer made of a resin composition as a forming material and which is capable of bonding an adherend and a protective plate, wherein the adhesive layer has a first surface and a second surface on the opposite side of the first surface, the composition of the resin composition at the first surface and the composition of the resin composition at the second surface are different from each other, and the adhesive force between the first surface and the protective plate is larger than the adhesive force between the second surface and the adherend.

A method for allowing relatively thin labels to be used in a label dispensing operation in which a release liner is separated from an adhesive face of the label and the label is applied to an article to be labeled , the method comprising:prior to separating the release liner from the adhesive and label, irradiating at least a portion of the adhesive with radiant energy, whereby the irradiated adhesive undergoes a reduction in tack and a reduced peel force is obtained upon separating the release liner from the adhesive and label.2. The method of wherein the release liner is separated from the adhesive and the label using a peel plate.3.
