The present invention relates to a mixture of polyalkylsiloxanes obtainable through a hydrosilylation reaction wherein a mixture of monounsaturated olefins is reacted with an amount of one or more polyalkylhydrosiloxanes in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst. Furthermore, the invention concerns polyalkylsiloxane comprising alkyl side chains consisting of linear or branched alkyl groups with 40 to 60 carbon atoms, with 16 to 30 carbon atoms, and 6 to 15 carbon atoms. In addition, the present invention relates to water-based compositions suitable for use in metal casting processes as a mold release agent comprising a mixture of polyalkylsiloxanes, a non-ionic surfactant having a HLB value of at least 8, and less than 20 wt.-% of waxes. In addition, the present invention relates to the use of the polyalkylsiloxanes and mixtures of polyalkylsiloxanes. 2. A method for lubricating the passage of a container along a conveyor , comprising: (a) a water insoluble oil with viscosity greater than about 300 centipoise;', '(b) about 0 to about 0.35 wt-% emulsifier; and', '(c) about 99.3 to about 99.99 wt-% water, inclusive of any hydrophilic diluents;, 'applying a lubricating emulsion to at least a portion of a container-contacting surface of the conveyor or to at least a portion of a conveyor-contacting surface of the container, the lubricating emulsion comprisingwherein the lubricating emulsion is applied for a period of time and not applied for a period of time and the ratio of not applied:applied time is between 2:1 and 32:1.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the water insoluble oil comprises from about about 0.01% to about 0.35% of a weakly amphipathic compound.3. A method for preparing a final grease product comprising steps of: (a) mixing a polymeric thickener, which comprises a polymer of propylene, and a lubricating base oil at a temperature above the melting point of the polymeric thickener, wherein the polymeric thickener is present in an amount of 11.5-15.5 wt %, based on the total weight of the mixture so obtained; (b) cooling the mixture as obtained in step (a); (c) subjecting the cooled mixture as obtained in step (b) to a first mechanical treatment, to obtain an intermediate grease; (d) subjecting the intermediate grease as obtained in step (c) to a second mechanical treatment, carried out at a temperature in the range of from 50-90° C., to obtain the final grease product. The method can be applied to manufacturing of a grease.

A lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines contains a base oil and an additive in a form of a naphthalimide compound. A refrigerant used in a refrigerating machine in which the composition is used is unsaturated hydrofluorocarbon (unsaturated HFC) having a GWP of 1000 or less. When the present lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines is used in refrigerating equipment such as an open-type automobile air-conditioner, an electric automobile air-conditioner, a gas heat pump, other air-conditioning equipment, a refrigerating machine, a vending machine, a showcase, a water-heating system and a refrigerating/heating system, it is possible to detect the leakage of a refrigerant with a long-lasting stability. Therefore, when an unsaturated freon refrigerant with a poor stability is used in the above-listed equipment, the present lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines is significantly advantageous.
