The present invention relates to improved laundry cleaning products and methods comprising a soil release polymer coated on the surface of a water-permeable, water-insoluble substrate material. The substrate material is used to carry a laundry detergent composition into an aqueous laundry solution. The soil release polymer and the laundry detergent composition are substantially distinct wherein the substrate material is used to enclose the detergent, and at least part of the substrate is coated with the soil release polymer. A series of natural soaps, both liquid and solid, and methods of making thereof, which have a synergistic effect when formulated with anti-redeposition ingredients in laundry applications both in synthetic and natural textiles and fabrics.
