A blister fabric (740) of a knit or woven construction may be needle punched to produce internal connections of filaments or fibers (741, 746) from yarns extending into, and/or between, the yarns of an adjacent layer. Interconnections of fibers among separate layers are produced by needles which enter a first layer and then carry fibers from the first layer to a second adjacent layer within the blister of the fabric. Such interconnected fibers which bridge or span multiple layers in the fabric serve to strengthen the blister fabric, making the fabric more resistant to abrasive forces.

A fabric made of yarns interlooping with each other or passing through an inner layer at looping intervals. The fabric is embossed with a micro-pattern extending into the yarns or into a layer underneath the fabric. The micro-pattern contains a pre-defined pattern of a plurality of binding points attaching the yarns to the inner layer or to the added underlayer. This micro-pattern has an inter-point spacing between adjacent binding points that is less than the interlooping intervals. The fabric can also be embossed with a macro-pattern separate from and coarser than the micro-pattern. The macro-pattern establishes a desired aesthetic in the fabric, and the micro-pattern does not interfere with the desired aesthetic.

A method of constructing a double face fabric is provided. The first step in the method is to knit a three dimensional knit fabric which has a first fabric layer, a second fabric layer and a plurality of yarns that interconnect the two layers. The three dimensional knit fabric is prepared using a conventional double needle bar warp knitting machine. Then, the yarn connecting the two layers is cut, resulting in two pieces of fabric having a velvet surface on one side, and a flat knit surface on the other. The flat knit surface is then raised by a conventional process such as napping, in order to form a pair of double face fabrics, each with a first velvet surface and a second fleece surface.

Номер: CH0000561804A5
Автор:

A RAschelle knitting machine has one needle bed provided with hook needles to which a base yarn is fed by a guide to produce a knitted base web and one needle bed provided with straight needles whch are fed via guides with a thermoplastic pile yarn. The straight needles form the pile yarn into a loop pile projecting from the base web, and in the loop forming region an elongate loop holder (e.g. a metal rod or heat resistant wire) extends through the loops to ensure their correct formation. Downstream of the knitting/loop forming position the fabric passes between heater bars which fuse the loop pile yarsn to the base web. The method is used for producing pile fabric used in hook and pile fasteners.

It is described a process for manufacturing in crochet galloon machines, ribbons of synthetic fabric provided with flexible hooks for quick-closing devices of the tear type, which process comprises a previous step of knitting a ribbon in which successive sequences of loops are formed. The ribbon is then submitted to a heat treatment adapted to substantially stiffen said loops previously shaped in an angle-bent conformation. Then a cutting operation is carried out on the stiffened loops so as to obtain one hook from each of them. A crochet galloon machine is also provided for forming said ribbons of synthetic fabric, said machine comprising a plurality of shaping elements adapted to form successive sequences of loops with the weft threads, a heat-treatment unit (14) for setting the geometric shape of the loops, and a cutting device (15) intended for cutting off the stiffened loops so as to obtain one hook from each of them.

Способ узорного жаккардового ворсового трикотажа и машина для его осуществления

Номер: SU1004500A1

A double, jacquard-patterned piled fabric is produced on a modified warp-knitting machine having two needle-rows whose needles form needle-pairs. Each needle-pair receives a respective set of pile threads, differing ones of which are at different points in a pattern to become patterning pile threads visible in the fabric's pile pattern. When a given pile thread is to be non-patterning, it is tied into one of the two ground fabrics in the form of a walewise-running unlooped thread, and is not knitted into the ground fabric in the form of either half or full loops, in order to greatly reduce the rate of consumption of non-patterning pile thread. When a pile thread is to become a patterning pile thread, it is displaced into the zone intermediate the two needle rows and incorporated into alternate ones of the two ground fabrics in the form of half-loops. When it is again to become a non-patterning pile thread, it is returned to one of the ground fabrics and again tied thereinto in the form of a walewise-running unlooped thread.

Also, the present invention extinguishes a residual stress on the pile yarn based on the standing state of the pile yarn after the post-process painting the pile knit fabric, thereby maintaining the standing state of the pile yarn without being easily laid down by an external force.

Loop pile fabric is knitted on Raschelle machine - using guide bar to form a weft yarn into loops

Номер: FR2317403A1
Автор: [UNK]
Принадлежит: SERATEC SARL

The machine uses three guide bars, the first guide bar cooperating only with certai needles to form wales of chain stitches. The second guide bar is used to co-operate with same needles and insert zig-zag weft yarns extending between the wales. The third guide bar co-operates alternately with the same needles to form stitches in alternate courses, and with the other needles to produce loops. The distance of movement of the third bar determines the size of the loops produced. The fabric is used as e.g., a wall covering, and can be positioned easily using a hook pile fastener, the loops being engaged by the hook pile. The loops are formed during knitting.

Принадлежит: 송진달

A manufacturing method of a tricot corduroy textile is provided to have the excellent abrasion-proof property and elasticity and to extend the lifetime of the textile. A general tricot(101) fabric weaved by the first bar, the second bar, the third bar and the fourth bar is manufactured. An upper end of a needle is formed by two sections. The needles are respectively inserted into the inside of a tunnel structure(103) formed at the third bar of the tricot fabric. A cutting edge is rotated at the upper portion of the needle so that the tunnel structure is divided into two equal parts continuously and then piles are formed. The divided piles are worked so that the tricot corduroy fabric is formed. A cutting device includes circle cutting edges formed with a constant distance. The cutting edges are rotated with a shaft as the center and perform the cutting process.

Номер: DE102005013214A1
Принадлежит: HOCHSCHULE NIEDERRHEIN

Two warp knitted base fabrics are produced using two needle bars (N1, N2) and two guide bars (GB5, GB4; GB2, GB1). Two peg bars (S1, S2) associated with needle bars (N1, N2) are timed to form loops on both sides with the yarn supplied by the guide bars. A guide bar (GB3) ensures that a yarn is taken through both base fabrics to act as connecting thread between them. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) A similar lay-out arranged for simultaneously producing two separate fabrics, each having a loop pile plush surface on only one side; (2) A process for producing a warp knitted fabric with a loop pile plush surface on both sides by this arrangement; (3) A process for the simultaneous production of two single sided plush fabrics; (4) Plain fabric with a double sided plush surface produced in this way; (5) Plain and purl fabric with one plush surface produced in this way. The material forming the pile loops can be different on the two sides, e.g. one side can be synthetic fiber and the other mercerized cotton.
