A ribbon for making rosettes is made of several layers and has at least one base strip with spaced narrow sections and a narrow pull strip. During manufacture, a stapler fits a clip at the narrow sections after which the ribbon enters a cutting and welding device via a buffer zone. A feeder forwards the ribbon in steps to a width detector which controls a welding head and a cutter according to the spaced narrow sections. The feeder can be continuous and the stapler can be mounted on a movable carriage. USE/ADVANTAGE - The buffer zone before the step feeder allows the whole machine to operate continuously with high throughput.

A bow form which may be constructed from a machine onto a spool of a plurality of bow forms which may be converted to a full bow by an ultimate user by pulling a drawstring is disclosed. The bow form may be constructed from a high grade ribbon fabric such as woven acetate. The bow form is constructed from two ribbons, a drawstring which may be made of an elastic material and a plurality of bands which may be formed from strips of material which are fused into bands during production of the bow form. When desired, the ultimate bow may be supported by a bow support which serves to provide additional support to the pile of loops of ribbon material to thereby prolong a fuller look in the bow.

MODULAR TEXTILE ELEMENTS; METHOD OFMANUFACTURE THEREOF AND PRODUCTS SO OBTAINED

L'invention concerne des éléments textiles décoratifs longilignes d'aspect nodulaire, leurs procédés de fabrication ainsi que les articles réalises avec lesdits éléments. L'élément est caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué d'un assemblage de fils de polyamide ou polyester sensiblement parallèles, a haute capacité de gonflement, présentant sur sa longueur, au moins deux zones comprimées de faible densité séparées par une zone gonflante de diamètre élevé dont le rapport des diamètres apparents de la zone comprimée et de la zone gonflante est compris entre 2:1 et environ 50:1, ledit assemblage ayant un denier total d'environ au moins 100,000. Ces éléments, utilisés seuls ou en association avec d'autres matériaux, permettent d'obtenir des articles très décoratifs convenant pour l'habillement et surtout pour l'ameublement (tentures, revêtements muraux, housses de sièges, etc...).

TEXTILE ARTICLE

A generally rectangular shaped textile fabric article having a top surface and a bottom surface with indicia disposed over all or portions of these surfaces. The fabric article is further defined by four sides with a border comprised of a plurality of simulated elongated fringe strips situated in juxtaposed relation. HIGH STRENGTH TAPE ARTICLES FROM ULTRA-HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT POLYETHYLENE

Tape articles having improved properties are made from ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) multi-filament yarns. The tape articles can have a ratio of the low temperature area under the curve (120° C to Tm-onset) to the total area under the curve (120° C to 165° C) of less than about 0.15 as calculated from an increasing temperature DSC scan from a temperature of 30° C to a temperature of 200° C at a constant rate of 10° C per minute. Additionally, in some examples the tape articles can also have a tenacity at least about 24 g/d (2.06 GPa) when measured by ASTM D882-09 at a 10 inch (25.4 cm) gauge length and at an extension rate of 100%/min. Further, the tape articles can have no long period of less than 450 Angstroms () when measured by small angle x-ray analysis.

Viking knit hand tool

This invention in one embodiment comprises a cylindrical rod with a rotating, removable loop head inserted into the center of the top end of the rod. The loop head is inserted into a vertical hole drilled into the top end of the rod, wherein the loop head is able to rotate in the hole. The loop head has a plurality of outwardly radially extending circumferential loops that receive wire for bending and weaving into the Viking Knit. Preferably, the rod also has an anchor hole, drilled diagonally through the rod near its top end, for receiving and securing a wire. Preferably, the rod also has a conical wire wrap attachment at the bottom of the rod for making wired end caps to cover or enclose the finished Viking Knit Weave. In another embodiment, this invention comprises a hollow cone with a rotating, removable loop head inserted in either or both ends of the cone.

Brunnian link making device and kit

A Brunnian link is a link formed from a closed loop doubled over itself to capture another closed loop to form a chain. The example kit provides for the successful creation of unique wearable articles using Brunnian link assembly techniques and includes several pin bars that are supported in a desired special orientation by at least one base. The desired special orientation is dependent on the desired linked configuration of the completed article. The base and pin bars may be assembled in various combination and orientations to provide endless variation of completed link orientations. Additional bases and pin bars can be to further expand possible completed article creation.

Decorative holder

A decorative material holder formed from a single piece structure having a series of equally spaced apart cavities formed by a series of upper and lower U-shaped bends in a sinuous shape. The cavities allow for the support of ornamental items, as well as facilitate and ease the making of ribbon bows. The material holder has a proximal end and a distal end extending a distance beyond the lower U-shaped bends. PARKER TRUE TO FORM BOW MAKER

The Parker True to Form Bow Maker is a manufactured article whose purpose is to simplify the making of decorative or ornamental ribbon bows. It is a one-piece article, used as a tool, which creates ribbon loops of uniform length and enables the loops of the bow to be held by the tool, rather than in the hand of the maker. The tool provides a slot for the purpose of tying the loops together in the center of the bow. There are no movable parts in the tool. The process to utilize the tool is specific to this tool.

VIKING KNIT HAND TOOL

The link pattern comprises a plurality of link indicia that correspond to plurality of links. A wired kernmantle cord comprises a single continuous length of 20-30 AWG solid, stranded, or braided metal wire coaxially placed in the center of a bundle of seven nylon yarns. The seven yarns each comprise three twisted nylon fibers. The metal wire and the seven yarns thus form a kern that is sheathed inside a woven, braided outer mantle of nylon. A beading loom includes two side supports spaced apart in a lateral direction, and a plurality of shafts rotatably connected to the supports. Pompoms are removably attachable to the cuff portions of a long sleeve garment. The pompoms can be easily removed from the sleeves to allow the pompoms to be worn on the user's wrists independently of the garment. The pompoms are attached to the sleeves with use of cooperating releasable fasteners such as, but not limited to, hook and loop fasteners, hook and eye fasteners, snaps, or rows of loops and buttons encircling the wrist portion of the sleeve. A band on the pompoms has an arrangement of releasable fasteners to allow the pompoms to be adjustably secured around the user's wrists when separated from the garment sleeves.
