A loft flooring system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the foot of the first and/or second upright leg is formed with a right-angled bracket that fits to a top surface and a sidewall of the joist.3. A bore is formed in the block and end, and extend therethrough at a predetermined position. The hanger includes a top tab and an end plate, wherein the end plate extends the height of the hanger. The top tab is constructed to extend over the top of a support. A pair of opposed flanges extend outward from the end plate and are spaced apart to snugly receive the web of the joist, with the block secured thereto, therein. Each of the flanges includes an opening therein. When the opening is aligned with the bore, the top tab of the hanger is in alignment with the top chord of the joist. In a lumber factory, an automated laminated veneer lumber (LVL) process supported by a lumber production line employing a cross-cutting and rip-sawing stage, a dip-coating stage, a spray-coating stage, a print-marking stage, and a stacking, packaging and wrapping stage. At the dip-coating stage, cross-cut and rip-sawed LVL product is automatically transported and submerged through a dipping reservoir containing clean fire inhibiting chemical (CFIC) liquid, and then wet-stacked and set aside to dry. Once dried, the dip-coated LVL products are returned to the production line and sprayed coated with a moisture, fire and UV protective coating at the spray-coating stage, and then passed through a drying tunnel for quick drying of the spray-coating to produce Class-A fire-protected LVL products. The Class-A fire-protected LVL products are stacked, packaged and wrapped at the stacking, packaging and wrapping stage into a package of Class-A fire-protected LVL products, ready for shipping.

A plurality of adjusting screws (14;14’) is utilised in an assembly and a method adapted for levelling an out-of-level flooring, which the assembly comprises a plurality of elongate levelling profiles (7;28;41) and bush mountings (34;34’). Once existing top- and/or sub-flooring (4) is removed and pugging (6) and floor joists (2) left in place. Adjusting screw mounting holes (10) are drilled in floor joists (2) and the plurality of adjusting screws (14;14’) are screwed into the adjusting screw mounting holes (10) until their free levelling ends (13) are at level. Then the plurality of elongate levelling profiles (7;28) are arranged on top of the floor joists (2) with the first mounting holes (8) aligned with the openings of the blind holes (17), and first fasteners (15) screwed into the plugs to secure the elongate levelling profiles (7;28) to the floor joists (2). The new flooring is mounted crosswise the elongate levelling profiles (7;28).
