Products and methods for constructing mass timber structures in multi-story configurations using long strand timber (LST) engineered wood products. Structural LST panels of predetermined dimensions are fabricated using LST manufacturing methods, typically involving steam pressing a billet of scrimber material that includes treatment materials and bonding material. The long strands of the material used in the panels are oriented vertically for improved load bearing capacity. The panels are sized for shipment to a job site. Prior to shipment, a plurality of panels are pre-processed by cutting openings for windows, doors, tongues, and grooves at a fabrication plant. At the job site, the LST panels are quickly assembled into a building shell (i.e. full exterior walls). Floor and roof joists are then attached using conventional wood fastening devices, and interior build out can commence very quickly after initial construction of the exterior walls.

The present invention relates to a wood composite arrangement comprising construction components (1) mechanically joined together in a parallel position. Such a construction component comprises at least one profiled side surface (2, 3) and, connecting them together, at least one edge surface (4, 5) and end surfaces (6, 7), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (11) of the construction component. In the invention, the side surfaces in the parallel construction components are adapted in an opposite position in pairs so that profile crests (8) and troughs (9) in opposite side surfaces are substantially parallel. There are these construction components (1) adapted successively in their longitudinal direction and adjacently in at least the lateral direction of the wood composite arrangement to establish a uniform plate-like structure, whereby the construction components are joined together by mechanical joining means.

A new prefabricated wall panel is the basic unit of a new, more efficient and stronger wall system. Prefabricated wall assemblies for the construction of buildings have a corrugated panel and preferably include at least one backside panel. The corrugated panel has one or more vertical channels and several horizontal channels. The vertical channels extend the entire panel height and are recessed from the front face. A panel , in particular a wall panel , ceiling panel , or floor panel , comprising a carrier plate having a front side and a back side , wherein the carrier plate has a layer system at least at the front side , the layer system , originating of the front side , comprising:{'sub': 'S1', 'sup': '2', 'a first elastic layer S1 made of an polymer, having a thickness of 40 to 600 μm and a Martens hardness Mof 0.5 to 120 N/mm;'}{'sub': S2', 'S2', 'S1, 'a second layer S2 made of a polymer, having a thickness of 10 to 180 μm and a Martens hardness M, wherein M>M; and'}{'sup': '2', 'wherein the hardness of the elastic layer S1 is substantially constant over the total thickness, and in that the hardness differences within the layer are less than 20 N/mm.'}2. The panel according to claim 1 , wherein the polymer of the layer S1 is an aliphatic polymer.3. The panel according to claim 1 , wherein Mis between 2 and 50 N/mm claim 1 , more preferably between 2 and 40 N/mm claim 1 , and most preferably between 2 and 30 N/mm.4. In accordance with the present invention, Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panels (M2SIP) is a new build design process that uses a steel channel frame outer band shell. It is integrated with wood framing studs that are mitered and screwed into the steel channel frame outer band shell to add durability and stability. The Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panels (M2SIP) includes interior vertical studs to provide strength during the manufacturing process. All Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panels (M2SIP) are combined with one Universal Receptacle, a metal utility box that supports electrical chase, water lines and secures the Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panel (M2SIP) base structure into the concrete slab. The Universal Receptacle is also used to mate each Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panel (M2SIP) wall through a vertical stud into another Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panel (M2SIP). The Metal to Frame Structural Insulated Panel (M2SIP) are then joined internally with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam for sound proofing and thermal Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation protection.
