A plug assembly for use in a key-operated lock, having a cylindrical key plug that can rotatable between a key insertion position and a control position, the key plug having a keyway and tumbler bores, an axial groove into the periphery displaced tangentially from the tumbler bores, a curved trough extending radially inwardly from the carriage groove, a control tooling slot formed radially inwardly from the curved trough. A carriage is moveable axially within the carriage groove, and has an outer surface proximate with the cylindrical periphery of the key plug. The carriage has radially-formed retainer bores that align tangentially with the tumbler bores when the carriage is in a position to accept lock configuration change balls. A separate change tooling blade can be inserted into the control tooling slot to raise any change balls within the retainer bores out through an outer opening the retainer bore.

The core defines a keyway disposed in rotational engagement with an end portion for actuating the lock assembly between locked and unlocked positions. A locking device and system are disclosed. The locking device includes a barrel within which sets a plug. A plurality of pins sit in pin pathways that extend partially through the barrel and plug and the pins prevent rotation of the barrel within the plug when the ends of the pins are not aligned with a shear line. One of the pins has a recess formed therein within which a locking ball can sit. The engagement or otherwise of the locking ball in the recess is controlled by a linear actuator. When the linear actuator allows the locking ball to disengage the recess the pin with the recess in can engage the key and a line the end of the pin with the shear line.

In one aspect of the present disclosure, a locking device is provided including an interchangeable core (IC), a barrel, an anti-rotation plate, a prong driver, a bolt and a backplate. The barrel is coupled to the backplate and includes a hollow interior to receive the IC. The bolt is slidably disposed in a slot of the backplate. The IC includes a key hole. The prong driver is coupled to the IC and the bolt, such that, when a proper key is inserted into the key hole and rotated the bolt can be extended from the slot in a direction away from the locking device or retracted into the slot in a direction toward the interior of the locking device. The anti-rotation plate of the locking device is coupled to the barrel to prevent the locking device from being rotated relative to a structure the locking device is mounted to.

Unlocking the handcuff requires actuating the first engageable selection mechanism concurrently with actuating the second engageable selection mechanism while simultaneously employing the universal handcuff key, thereby releasing the ratchet teeth of the handcuff strand. 1. A cylinder lock with a rotating tumbler pin, a sidebar, and a slider has a keyway with a ward projection into the center of the bitting area of a key blade received by the keyway. The tip of each rotating tumbler pin seats on the bitting surfaces remaining to the sides of this center ward of the key, and the tumbler pins that are engaged by the bitting on the side of the key blade do not seat on more than half of the width of the blade. Half the pin width is removed from each tumbler pin near the tip thereof. The key has a bitted section at which one or more bittings are formed and a non-bitted section bitting that is devoid of bitting. The bittings extend at a constant depth to an edge of the key blade.

A cylinder and key lock mechanism is unlocked when a specific combination of rotation angles of dialer groups, each constituted by one internal dialer disc and by one external dialer ring coupled through teeth, is dialed through rotation of the key having a formed cipher. A security mechanism, being part of the key and driven by the insertion of the key into the cylinder, enables re-programming. When unlocked and with re-programming enabled, re-programming is possible where the inner dialer discs are decoupled from the respective outer dialer rings, the key can be rotated driving only the inner dialer discs and extracted leaving the system in a re-programming configuration. A new key having a different cipher can be inserted and the system exited re-programming with a different coupling between the inner dialer discs and the respective outer dialer rings so that they couple with the new key cipher.

A locking device and system are disclosed. The locking device includes a barrel within which sets a plug. A plurality of pins sit in pin pathways that extend partially through the barrel and plug and the pins prevent rotation of the barrel within the plug when the ends of the pins are not aligned with a shear line. One of the pins has a recess formed therein within which a locking ball can sit. The engagement or otherwise of the locking ball in the recess is controlled by a linear actuator. When the linear actuator allows the locking ball to disengage the recess the pin with the recess in can engage the key and a line the end of the pin with the shear line.

A lock core reinforced structure device with two different metallic parts comprises a lock sleeve, a revolver and a gate. The lock sleeve provides disposition and combination of the revolver and includes some pin holes providing disposition of upper pinballs, springs and a stop pin. The revolver includes a key channel for insertion of a key and some pin holes providing disposition of lower pinballs. Additionally, the main body of the revolver is made of two different metallic materials combined together, where the front part of it is made of easily machined cast iron or copper and the rear part of it is made of steel material or heat treatment reinforced steel which has more structure strength. Furthermore, a gate room is formed beside an open end of the key channel and provides disposition of a gate and a spring, which is sealed and fixed by a keyhole cover. The gate is constantly pushed by the spring and moves upward to seal the open end of the key channel.

A carriage is moveable axially within the carriage groove, and has an outer surface proximate with the cylindrical periphery of the key plug. The carriage has radially-formed retainer bores that align tangentially with the tumbler bores when the carriage is in a position to accept lock configuration change balls. A separate change tooling blade can be inserted into the control tooling slot to raise any change balls within the retainer bores out through an outer opening the retainer bore.

A cylinder and key lock mechanism is unlocked when a specific combination of rotation angles of dialer groups, each constituted by one internal dialer disc and by one external dialer ring coupled through teeth, is dialed through rotation of the key having a formed cipher. A security mechanism, being part of the key and driven by the insertion of the key into the cylinder, enables re-programming. When unlocked and with re-programming enabled, re-programming is possible where the inner dialer discs are decoupled from the respective outer dialer rings, the key can be rotated driving only the inner dialer discs and extracted leaving the system in a re-programming configuration. A new key having a different cipher can be inserted and the system exited re-programming with a different coupling between the inner dialer discs and the respective outer dialer rings so that they couple with the new key cipher.

A key for releasing the cylinder lock mounted with the safety pin and the lock pin is mounted with balls(131,132) and springs(133,134) at both sides thereof.
