Bei mindestens einem Scharnierflügel (1) ist die Scharnierhülse (7) mit mindestens einer radial in eine Rille (10) des Scharnierbolzens (3) eingreifenden Sicherungsschraube (9) als Sicherungselement versehen. A hinge comprises two parts joined by a hinge pin formed as a spit spring pin 40 which extends from a through hole in one part into a blind hole in the other 36. The split spring pin can provide a high degree of friction with the both the through hole and the blind hole. Both may be of the same diameter. The friction may be used to retain a cover or lid open. The hinge may be easily assembled by pressing or driving the pin through the through hole to extend into the blind hole. The friction obtained makes removal of the pin difficult. The hinge is applicable to a cover 26 on the underside of a base station enclosure in a mobile telecommunications network. The hinge helps to conduct heat to a battery on the inside of the cover.

The present invention relates to the field of hinges and carriage mechanisms, such as a hinge and carriage mechanism adapted to hang a door, gate, panel, window or the like. The present invention is suitable for use with a means of providing height adjustment for a door and can reduce undesirable tampering and improve the security of the hinges and door assemblies by controlling the orientation of specific part of a hinge to limit access to the fastener.

FORCED ENTRY RESISTANCE DEVICE FOR SASH WINDOW ASSEMBLY

A forced entry resistance device (20) is provided for a sash window assembly (10). The assemble has a keeper (28) mounted on a base (25) of an upper sash window (14) and a locking assembly (30) mounted on a top rail (27) of a lower sash window (16). The locking assembly (30) has a movable cam (36) fur engaging the keeper (28). The forced entry resistance device (20) comprises a member (20) adapted to be mounted to one of the base (25) and top rail (27) for preventing access to the cam (36).

MULTI-POSITION ADJUSTABLE DOOR HINGE

A multi-position adjustable door hinge is comprised of a frame leaf having a lower barrel section and a door leaf having an upper barrel section. An eccentric pivot pin is disposed in axial rotational fit in a through bore of the lower barrel section and is in contact at a lower end with an adjustment screw. The eccentric pivot pin has an upper cylindrical portion eccentrically displaced from the lower cylindrical portion and extends into a cylindrical bore of an eccentric compensator cylinder adjustably retained in the through bore of the upper barrel section. The eccentric pivot pin and the eccentric compensator cylinder are both axially displaceable from one another whereby to impart relative lateral displacement thereof anti of the barrels to a desired position. The adjustment screw at the bottom of the lower barrel section provides vertical adjustment between the frame leaf and the door leaf. Set screws are provided to lock the eccentric pivot pin and the eccentric compensator cylinder at the desired position.

In one aspect, the disclosure relates to an apparatus that can be installed on an existing door to provide improved security.
